______________________________________The answer to Eunjin's previous question was no, in fact, 2 days have passed and nothing else has happened.
Changmin confirmed that he was the one that scared her, making Eunjin feel even guiltier for hitting Hyungseo.
Aside from that incident, her life has been boring so far, barely any homework, a few surprise quizzes has passed, her brother not really home much because of college, her dad and step-mom are basically still working and etc.
Changmin hasn't really talked to her much now, probably focusing on school, she still hasn't figured out how he got her phone number though but she didn't really care, she never even checks his messages.
As she went in the cafeteria to eat, she sat in another empty table, away from Changmin and his friends.
As she started eating, students sat on the same table as her.
She didn't mind at first but when she looked up, it was when she realized that she was sitting with the popular people.
They didn't mind her and conversed within themselves, leaving Eunjin in a confused state.
Her eyes flickered between them and her food, the chopsticks still placed in between her lips.
She internally sighed and started pack her things up.
"What's wrong why are you leaving?" A girl from the Music club said, her curled hair moving to the side as she tilted her head, she sat near Eunjin's right side, if Eunjin remembers correctly, her name was Aoi Kaname and she was a Japanese transfer student from last years batch.
It was then that she realized that all their eyes were trained on her, she felt uncomfortable and she wanted to leave.
"Stop staring at her, you're making her uncomfortable." Another girl from the cheerleading team said as she hit the two guys sitting beside her.
"You're selectively mute right? Don't worry, we won't bother you, my brother's selectively mute too, I actually understand what you feel- well, not personally- but like, gah, you know what I mean." A guy from the volleyball team said, tripping over his own words, he awkwardly flashed her a smile and continued conversing with his friends.
Eunjin was lost.
Should I eat and stay or just leave quietly? They'll probably not notice so I'll just-
Before Eunjin can even decide, a splash was heard from behind her and before she can react, food was spilling from her back.
The girl beside her, Kaname, was also hit by the food. She stood up and started to jump around, cursing every few seconds.
Eunjin sat there as eyes were looking straight at her. She felt the anxiety rise in her chest, she felt as if she was going to get an anxiety attack but she didn't even know if it was an anxiety attack or not.
She felt this strange feeling that constricted her lungs from working, tears were already threatening to spill.
She quickly packed her things and ran off into the bathroom.
Multiple voices can be heard from behind her but she didn't know whose.
As she reached in the bathroom, she looked at herself, the front part of her clothes looked fine but the back was covered with rice, vegetables, sauce, meat and other things.
Eunjin groaned in frustration.
She remembered the eyes that were trained on her and that's when the tears spilled.
She looked at herself in the mirror as tears silently fell on the bathroom sink.
She wiped them away as the bathroom door opened.
"Uh hey." A girl from the table earlier came in along with Kaname.
Kaname flashed her a smile and went inside a stall, holding clothes in her hands.
Eunjin looked down at her clothes and felt embarrassed, wanting to leave the stall quickly, she took her bag.
"Wait, here." The other girl said as she handed her a small plastic bag.
"I figured you'd need a new uniform so here, I'll let you wear mine, you can give it back by tomorrow." She said as she handed it to Eunjin.
Eunjin looked at her in shock, happiness erupting in her chest.
Eunjin unknowingly smiled at her, "Thank you.. s-so much." She let out.
The girl's eyes widen in shock, she didn't think Eunjin would reply but her eyes turned into an eye smile as she grinned at Eunjin. "No problem, my name's Seungji." She says as she stepped back.
"I'll go leave now. Bye bye." She says as she left the room, waving at Eunjin as she waved back.
Silence was heard in the room as Eunjin started to change in a stall, using a wet towel to clean off the food remains that were on her back.
"You have a pretty voice." She heard from the next stall, "You should talk more often." She blushed at Kaname's words.
"T-thank you." Eunjin said.
"You're welcome." She heard the stall open, Kaname's shoes squeaking against the tiles "Bye now." And then she heard the bathroom doors close.
"Bye..." Eunjin's soft voice lingered in the empty room.
As Eunjin was left in the bathroom, she realized that people aren't so bad after all.
Maybe she'd actually start making friends.
With her hopes up, she smiled as put on the clean uniform.
