Talia woke up the following morning to her stern best friend hovering over her waiting to unleash his brotherly anger onto her. 

"Just tell me why" He asked, she sat up on the bed trying to come up with a valuable explanation, only to come to the conclusion she didnt have one, well not one that she would be willing to share with him anyway.

"I dont know why I do it ever time I just want to forget" she finally let the words flow from her mouth.

"Forget what" Tobi asked, suddenly a wave of concern for his childhood friend washed over him.

"Sometimes I just want to give in and I dont want to fight, Im sorry im not perfect, I want to be the girl you remember the little girl you once had but shes gone" Hot tears blurred both their visions as they rolled down both their faces. "Please just hold me" She whimpered, she wanted to feel safe like when they were younger, when Tobi would protect her from her torturous school bullies.

They sat in silence as Tobi held his best friend , their eye lids gradually became heavier until they were impossible to keep open.

Talias eyes slowly fluttered open immediately, she propped herself up using her elbows looking to see if Tobi was still their. He must have gone to edit some videos because he wasnt in her sight.

She went to crawl out of the bed when her phone pinged from in her pocket, she opened it to see a text from Jason.

Jace [5:05pm]:
Baby im sorry xxx

Jace:
We can work this out xxx

Jace:
I never ment to hurt you xxxx

she was about to respond when the door slowly started to creep open. Lifting her head her eyes layed on a certain blonde boy whos crystal blue eyes she had always envied. It was Simon.

As if she had no control of her legs she jumped up from the bed and sprinted towards Simon, she jumped wrapping her arms around his shoulder as he snaked his arms around her waist.

"Ive missed you" She blurted the words out without hesitation, she burried her head into his shoulders like she used to.

Talia and Simon used to have a thing way back before she started dating Jason. As they stayed there cuddling each other a kaleidoscope of memories came rushing back.

"Ive missed you to" His voice sounded shaky, suddenly he pulled away from the embrace and shot Talia a worried look. "We need to talk" He finally spat out.
