Talia looked up from her phone to be faced with his sad and teary eyes he instantly turned away from her trying to avoid eye contact. She had a sinking feeling that there was something he was trying to hide. She reached for his hand but it was cold he pulled away from her and she wondered what was on his mind.

"I made a dumb mistake" He started to tremble and his voice began to break. "The lipstick you found wasnt yours it was your mates" The colour began to drain from her face as what he said to her began to sink in.

He reached to touch her face but she gripped his wrist firmly and pulled it away stumbling as she stepped away from him. It wasn't the feeling of betrayal that she couldnt seem to shake that hurt the most. Everything she knew told her she should just walk away but she couldn't help but want to stay.

she pushed every other thought out of her mind except for one - alcohol. She grabbed her keys and phone as she fled out of her own apartment still fighting back the hot tears that were now blurring her vision.

She felt different then before, alcohol and pills did that to a person. Talia was sat on a swing in the pitch black continuously poppin' pills till it made her feel numb. That was always her goal when abusing substances - to feel numb. 

"Talia" She heard a faint but familiar voice call her name from the over side of the park. Before she knew it the boy she had noticed from the corner of her eye was now sprinting towards her.

"Tobiiiii" She slurred, suddenly her vision turned hazy as her whole world flipped upside down.

"T what have done to yourself" He muttered under his breath but loud enough so she could hear his disappointment. Tobi rushed over to her side and wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Im a mess" The last words she managed slur before collapsing into the boys arms.
