An Old Man?

The place was filled with blood and other type of liquid that is dripping from the ceiling. Also the room is filled with upside down crosses an-OH GOD, it's not upside crosses, is corpse's that are turned upside down and have their eye sockets filled with maggots. Also, the thing has cloned itself by 3, wait no there is multiple.

"I told you that this cult is back! Sometimes things could be unbelievable, but you have to believe them." Lewis shouted.

"Hm, you didn't believe him..." The thing commented.

The air became colder and colder for everybody in the group, but Rose felt this weird chill. She felt like there was something suspicious going. Her left eyebrow raised while she started to fidget with the old curtain on the window. She knew that there was someone who is part of this cult and she started to think that Lewis was part of it. After all, Lewis found out this was a cult by searching it up on the internet, but when she looked at the internet after receiving the letter, she found a website leading to a children fundraiser about down syndrome. Also, the thing was "disappointed" that nobody believed him.

"Lewis, I am sorry to say this but I think you are involved in this cult." Rose reported.

"What! You think I am part of this cult?" Lewis replied.

"Yes because when I searched up about The Mooners, only a website about a fundraiser of children with down syndrome came up!" Rose shouted.

"SHUT IT!" The thing shouted.

They all went silent like a child when is being yelled at by a parent. The thing moved at a yellow that looked like a one of those jack boxes you get at a carnival. He pulled out cards with our faces on it. It also said a role that we supposedly were.

"These are cards that represent you. Zyler, the anti-social person, Lauren the Instagram model, Lewis the nerd, Alfredo the basketball player and Rose the theater geek. These cards is your lifeline, if you get chosen, you are dead. So now, choose on who will get chosen and die."

"How will we die? Oh god no." Zyler questioned.

"Maiden of Madness." The thing smirked.

"OH GOD NO! PLEASE BE KIDDING, PLEASE!" Rose shouted.

"Yeah Rose, the Maiden of Madness..." The thing cheered.

"What is this Maiden of Madness?" Lewis wondered.

"Is a suicide trap that is shaped like a russian doll. If you go in and doors close, you are stab to death. But, it will be consider a homicide because someone is forcing us to die..." Rose replied.

The things gets Lauren and pushes her to the floor, they all gathered together and start this weird chanting. Then, a light appears. The Maiden of Madness appears which makes Rose start screaming and head to the nearest pitch black corner.

"Now, vote." The thing laughed.

As I said, the worst thing was deciding to go to that specific high school, now they have to pay the price.

The group starts to panic and realized that they will perform a homicide. The group decided to create alliances and talk about who should die.

"How about if we plead our cases?" Alfredo wondered while having a severe panic attack.

"And, if you guys get the cult member and get them killed, we will leave you people alone." The thing stated.

This gave Rose an excuse to get Lewis killed. She was positive that Lewis was the cult member and her goal is to not be the one chosen to die. She walks out of the pitch black corner and joins a group.
