There was a young princess who wanted a new general for her expanding army. The princess told her kingdom that there would be three test and who ever pasted all of them got to be the new general.
A young man in the kingdom wanted to try out. On his way a hunter was about to shoot a bear, the young man gave the hunter a gold coin to leave the bear alone. The young man saw a fisherman with a large shimmering fish, the young man gave the fisherman a gold coin to let the fish go. Next to the castle a lumberjack was going to cut down a mighty oak tree, the young man gave the lumberjack a gold coin to leave the tree alone.
The first test was of strength for that test a bear was let into the garden for the participants to fight it, the bear was the same bear was the young man saved, the bear was his saviour and fell to the ground, the young man won that challenge. The next test was of stamina so they went to a lake the lake they went to was were the fish was and when he went under water the fish gave him more air so the young man was able to stay down for five more minutes, the young man won that challenge. The last challenge was of stealth, the participants were told to hide and the young man went to hide in the mighty oak tree and the princess's guards could not find him, the young man won that challenge.
The young man was the new general. The young man showed that if you are kind you will get what you deserve.
