Hellooo I wanted to write this book for a long time so here we go. The song above inspired me to write this and helps in the plot a little. I hope you enjoy this (First Rochu fanfic so sorry if their OOC. If there are any other languages in my books there are translations at the end of the chapter. On that note I use Google translate, so if the translations are incorrect please tell me and I'll fix it)

Yao's POV

I was speed walking to the meeting room. I'm so so late! I'm so screwed! Boss is going to kill me! Everyone was greeting me in the halls. I quickly say 'hi' and wave at them. After what felt like an eternity I reached the meeting room. I quickly open the door, disturbing whatever they were talking about. I panted heavily, sitting on the chair next to my boss.

"Sorry I'm late aru," I said my breathing slowing down a bit. I finally look at the two men in front of me. I look at the one I guess is my 'partner's' boss. He had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, probably mid 40's. I look over at who I presumed was my partner. I swear my heart skipped a beat. He had white hair that reminded me of the snow in winter, violet colored eyes that matches the violet's in my garden.

"This is Andrew Sokolov and your partner Ivan Braginsky," my boss gestured to the two men in front of us. "Nice to meet you. I'm Wang Yao. You may call me Yao," I smiled and shook their hands. "The pleasure's mine," Andrew kissed my hand. I immediately pull my hand away and sit back down.

And so our bosses started talking. I wasn't really listening to their conversation. It sounded like they were talking about 'problems with budgets'. I keep sneaking glances at Ivan. He stared out the window, in his thoughts.

After a about an hour and a half, my boss started to notice me and Ivan's boredom. "Hey, how 'bout you two go get something to eat. Maybe you could get to know each other a bit more before your first mission," my boss smiled at us.

Me and Ivan looked at each other for a moment. Ivan stood up and stood in front of me, his hand outstretched. "Do you want to get something to eat. I'm guessing since you were late you couldn't eat breakfast. So you must be really hungry," he smiled at me. I sat there for a moment not sure how to respond. "Sure, I'm really hungry aru," I took his hand and he led me outside.

Once we got outside he led me to his car. "Wait, I have to get my wallet," I said still a bit nervous since my hand was still in his. "Please lunch is on me," he smiled. I climbed in the car and he did the same. The ride to the restaurant was filled with an awkward silence. It seems that we both are a little too shy to talk.

Ivan's POV

We finally got to the restaurant. I got my wallet and climbed out the car, Yao doing the same. We enter the restaurant and ordered our drinks. "Sorry, but can I ask you something?" I asked, breaking the silence. "You can ask anything you want aru," Yao replied smiling a bit looking at me. "Are you a boy or a girl?" I asked shyly. Yao looked surprised, before laughing a bit. "What's so funny," I asked confused. His laugh is kinda adorable. Snap out of it, you know what happened last time... "I actually get that a lot. Apparently, I look a lot like a girl, but I'm a guy," Yao laughed. "Oh," I said and there was an awkward silence till Yao broke it.

"So is this the first time you're working with a partner?" Yao asked me. "Well-" I began, but was cut off by the waitress giving us our drinks. We both ordered our food. Once the waitress was out of hearing range I spoke up again. "Well, this is my second time working with a partner. Me and my first partner didn't work out," I said nervously. Yao seemed to sense the atmosphere and stayed silent.

"What about you? Is this your first time working with a partner?" I asked breaking the silence once again. "Actually, yes this is. I'm kinda new to this spy stuff," he laughed nervously. "Really. Are you excited?" I asked sipping my drink. "Yeah, I hope it goes well," Yao said excitedly. "I'm sure it will go well," I smiled as he sipped on his own drink. There was a comfortable silence till the food came.
