2 weeks later.
friday, october 26th.
it's nearly two am, and i just can't sleep. lauren is spending the night at nadia's, my other two sisters are away at college, and my mom and dad are fast asleep.
i toss and turn for another half an hour before grabbing for my phone. i feel around my side table, finally getting ahold of it, and turn it on, immediately squinting from the light. after my eyes adjust, i open up our groupchat.
