Leo walked through the halls of His new school, smiling at the paintings and other kids that passed by. Leonardo was surely astonished, there was a variety of people he'd never known. Mostly because Gumball was always over protective of him, but he never got mad at his Dad, Leo is also incredibly smart for his age, and never will he admit it but he's scared too.
Being a prince strained his safety. Although Marshall is usually passive, he's very strict with people that Leo meets. Not one friends does Leo have, the only person who he considers his friend is Memfry and the Banana guards. Peppermint maid is a Mother to Leo, she's the person who taught him manners and values of course.
Majority of his life so far consist of His Father, Marshall, teaching him how to play Ukulele, Gumball tutoring him , and Pep training him to be a proper prince. Even though it might all seem pretty nice, Leo wants a friend. Sure Memfry and the guard's talk to him but he'd also like someone his age, but it's hard since Leo never actually talked to someone else aside from his Family.
Now he's attending school for the first time. He gripped his backpack tighter and lowered his head. Leo walked and walked, finally spotting his cubby hole, 'Abadeer' it was labeled. The only thing is, it's too high.
'Aw..' Leo pouted, jumping on his tip toes trying to reach his Baby locker.
"Need help?"
Someone asked. Leo turned around to an orange boy, probably around his age. He blushed and nodded his head slightly. The kid reached up with ease and put Leo's backpack inside, giving the smaller a smile. Leo's cheeks heated up, Blake pulled a confused look before placing his shield inside the cubby hole right next to Leo's.
"Hi." He said. Leo looked up at him, he had yellow-Orange hair, scratches on his face, and he wore a sleeveless hoodie. "H-Hello." Leo stuttered out, pulling his sleeves of his sweatshirt out more to cover his hands.
The kid Smiled, walking off. Leo stayed there, thinking he was going to get left behind.
"Hey, what are you doing? Follow me!" The other laughed. Leo blushed, slowly making his way to him.
"I'm Blake. Nice to meet you!" He said. Leo Smiled. "I'm Leonardo."
Blake frowned. "Eh? I like your name but it's a bit too long don't you think? I'll call you Leo from now on!"
The vampire nodded his head. "Okay."
"So what grade are you?" Blake asked. He honestly looked Bigger than Leo, probably one or two years older.
"First." He replied. Blake frowned, "Oh, I'm in third grade."
"Really?" Leo asked disappointed. Blake Nodded his head. "But hey, let's still be friends okay?"
Leo perked up. They were friends? Was it really this easy to get one single friend? He looked up to Blake with wide eyes, The older smiled at him, petting his head.
"Let's have lunch together later okay?" He asked. "Sure.." Leo replied.
"Okay! Let's meet up by the cubbyhole?" Blake said. Leo Smiled. "S-Sure.."

It went on like that for a while, since Blake was older the Leo, they wouldn't get much time to spend together. Except when Leo was promoted to Honor's Math and Science, Which meant that he'd have to join Blake's Classes.
That was was start of a beautiful friendship, Blake and Leo would always hang out with each other to the point where they didn't even have any other close friends except each other. Day after Day they grew closer, and for years they did, but neither one of the boys ever told their Parents.
