"You said that it reminded you of magic when we met; A silent heaven, as you'd explain, a euphoric, thriving sensation," Taehyung's body shivered, holding a single sheet of paper in front of an arena full of people.
His erratic, nervous breaths punctured his lungs, "Euphoria, a lingering aura, a guilty pleasure, and a constant reminder of the lightness in our lives. You and I, a kind of warmth that even the greatest tribulation, the wrathful act of god could not separate."
He grew louder as he felt passionate about the words that he spoke. His eyes, glancing down at the rows of people. He shook his head.
"But, with love, comes the entanglement of emotions. The loveliness that you felt in the beginning, now, a silent, reeking hell: a realization," "A realization that spoke clearly," He stopped, "That she doesn't love me anymore."
"Why?" He asked, watching their faces turn to a look of concern. An abrupt pause, an eerie feeling overcame the room. The stares became heavier, but the break was needed.
Taehyung took a sigh of relief, his body tensing, "The truth is, I've never experienced a love that's lasted long enough for me to get comfortable. It's like riding a constant wave of heartbreak and disappointment that's tortured me to a point where attaining a relationship at this state is nearly impossible," "But when sadness arises, there is a time where you must understand and accept that without heartache, you would never be able to appreciate how intense and valuable a moment of happiness really is."
Taehyung bows, placing the crinkled paper down on the podium on his lap, shaking uncontrollably. As the audience claps, he feels a strange sense of contentment wash over him.
He shakes his head, walking off stage as his cheeks turn bright pink. When he enters the room, he places his hands on the desk.
"You did well," Hoseok complimented, resting his hand softly on Taehyung's upper back. His voice, soft and caring, but still sent shivers down Taehyung's spine.
Taehyung nodded slowly, laughing at himself, "Thank you, though I don't truly believe it," His smile fades as Hoseok removes his hand from his back, "I didn't spend too much time on it, and I'm sure it was supposed to be longer,"
"But despite all of that, you did well and that's all that matters. People liked it," Hoseok said calmly, "You made it heartfelt and personal, you just have to work on capturing the minds of the audience a bit more,"
Taehyung nodded, "Yeah, as Namjoon does,"
"Absolutely," Hoseok replied.
