I woke up feeling pretty chilly and I felt nauseous I think I'm starting to get sick. I noticed I had no blankets on me, Devon took them all. You all are probably wondering, "He stayed the night at your house?" Well yes he did, remember I told you my dad trust him because we're just two best friends and nothing more.
I was getting even more cold so I tried to get some blanket from Devon but I couldn't so I decided to throw a pillow at him to wake him up.
"Hey! What was that for?" He asked in a sleepy voice.
"You took all the blanket and left me with none and I'm cold," I said and started to cough.
"Are you getting sick?" He asked and I nodded my head.
"Let's get you some medicine." he said.
"Fine."
We both got up and went to the bathroom where the medicine cabinet is. He pulled some medicine out and gave me some.
"I'm gonna go to the store and you some soup." He said.
"I'll be fine, you don't have to do that." I said.
"I know I don't but I want to" he said then put his shoes on and leaves for the store.
"Ugh I hope I'm not sick for too long," I said to myself.
I went up to my room to go and take a quick shower and brushed my teeth. When I was done I went to my closet and pulled out sweatpants and a sweater that says I woke up like this in white on the front. I figured today could just be a lazy Netflix kinda day. After I put my outfit on and brushed my hair I walked back to the living room and turned the Xbox on to watch Netflix. I was scrolling through Netflix when Devon walked in.
"I got the soup," He said.
"Okay," I said and walked over to him to go make it. I walked into he kitchen, grabbed a bowl and put the soup in it then put it in the microwave to warm it up. After three minutes, I pulled it out and set it on the table and got a spoon. I let it cool down for a little bit then picked it up and walked to the living room and sat on the couch.
"Thank you for getting me soup." I said.
"You're welcome. I don't want you sick forever." he said.
"So, what do you want to watch?" I asked.
"Let's watch Homefront." He said.
Homefront is a really good movie he knows it's one of my favorites.
"Yes! I fudging love that movie," I said and started to cough a little.
We put Homefront on and it was starting. My phone started to ring and it was Michael. Great. He always has to ruin stuff.
"Is that him again?" Devon asked annoyed.
"Yeah" I said.
"Let me talk to him. He keeps bothering you and I want to tell him to stop," He said sternly and looked me in the eyes.
"No, I can handle this." I said and answered it and walked into the kitchen.
"What do you want Michael?" I asked very annoyed.
'I want YOU back. It was a mistake breaking up with you I know it sounds stupid but-" He said, and I didn't let him finish.
"Yeah well I don't want YOU back!" I said and hung up then walked back into the living room.
"What did he want?" Devon asked.
"The same thing every time: he want's me back, but I told him I don't want him back." I said then focused on the movie.
Everything got quiet but it wasn't like an awkward quiet, it was more of a comfortable quiet, just two best friends enjoying each others company while watching a movie.
"I'm gonna go and get a blanket." I said, then went to my room and grabbed one.
I walked back to the living room and sat down. I put the blanket over the both of us because it was a big blanket and there was no point in using another one. For the rest of the day that is all we did was sit and watch movies all day. Until it started getting late.
"I'm gonna go home, I'll text you later" He said and got up as did I, and we hugged and said bye.
After he left I still sat and watched movies. It was already, like, 12:30 when I started to get tired so I decided to take a late shower because I always do and did my routine before I go to bed. After all that I plopped myself on my bed and sent a text to Devon that said 'Goodnight' and went right to sleep.
