The unexpected reality

Chapter 4

I didn't know what to do should I call Emma,should I reply,should I ignore I don't know what to do and then suddenly,he called,my heart just stopped I wasn't breathing but I haven't realized I'm out of oxygen(asthma)and suddenly I started suffocating I looked in my bedside drawer for my inhaler and sniff then turn back to find my iPhone X on the floor,I took it to find my phone blank,I powered it on but no response,I shouted and dropped back on my bed asking myself why,why,throwing my hands,banging my legs on the bed.
"Kira!!!"
As I turned to see my parents on top of me
"What happened,we heard you shouting"
"Well it's probably Wattpad"said dad looking at my phone
I was left speechless as they turn to move out.
"Mom,dad,I don't know how to say this,but I think my phone is spoilt".
They turned to look at me
"What"(in unison)
"This phone was just bought 2weeks ago and now it's spoiled"
"No mom it was an accident I......."
"I'm very disappointed in you and for that this phone won't be repaired until the end of this month"
As they turn to move out.
"Pls let me explain....."
But they had already banged the door behind them
And I was left speechless once more.
I put my head back on the pillow, looking at the ceiling,thinking of what to do,what will Chris think of ,I kept thinking about this until I doze off.

"Hey Kira,hold up"
As I turned to see Emma coming towards me after I came out of dad's car.
"Hi"
"What's wrong you look moody,"said Emma
"It's nothing"
"I called you yesterday and your phone was switched off."
I looked at her in disbelief not wanting to tell her the truth but unfortunately my mouth slipped and I told her all that has happened.
"Ohh I'm sorry"
"No pls,don't be,it's not your doing".
And then she stopped and to my surprise we're in front of geography class.I went in and she followed,we sat on our chairs to wait for the teacher(mr.stewart)as we talked about the Incident that happened last night,as I was trying to tell her the message that Chris sent me just then mr.Stewart came in,I moved back to my seat so as everyone.after the class we went to history class,And English class more ,then to the cafeteria.

"Whaaaaaaat"
"Are you serious"Emma shouted.
I beamed. "Yes but unfortunately the damn phone is spoilt." "No it can't be we have to get a way to talk back to him"
"Look,babe I tried but there's no way"
"B..but what will Chris think of,that you hanged up on him or that you did not forgive him or i don't know ohh I'm freaking out"said Emma.
"Well the phone will be probably switched off to whom ever called" just then the bell rang,and it is time for sports.
"Well see you in the next class"cause we are participating in different sports with Emma,I'm in basketball practice and she's in tennis.
"Bye"
"Bye,Kira"
I went to the change room where everybody is changing,I changed to my p.e wear and went the basketball court,unfortunately I saw Chris there cause I didn't know Chris was in basketball practice I tried to remain cool but my body won't cope with the idea.now the coach was grouping us with our partners, "Chris with(all the girls there were shouting and praying for it to be one of them )Kira"and once he called out my name the place became silent once again and the coach continues along with gossips and gossips.i was totally pissed off "phhf,wow"
"Everyone to his partners"said the coach
As I turned to see Chris two inches to my face,I was startled that I almost shouted but he closed my mouth "shhh"it's me Chris"and released me to breathe.
"I'm sorry"
"No it's okay" I replied back
"Kira right"
"Yes"
"Have you seen my message"
"Y..yes"this is the time I figured out I can't lie in his face,cause I didn't know when I said that.
I was waiting for him to say I called you but switched of but unfortunately he didn't.
I turned to the coach to listen to what he was saying but Chris couldn't get his eyes off me just like me but I tried to ignore him but unfortunately I turned and he quickly turned his head to the coach,I turned back and smiled.we listen to the coach but we weren't concreted on him definitely on us.
So he finished and everybody turned to move out.
"Are you going to the school party tonight"said Chris
"No,I don't know cause so many people have asked me but I haven't really decided whom I'm going with"
"Will you go with me"
"Excuse me"
"Are you going to the party with me"
"Yes"shivering as I stood there like a dummy
"Well,Bye see you there"
"Bye"as I raised my hand to find no one in the hall,I took my belongings and went out too.
I changed and went to Emma to tell what happened
"Ahhh I'm so happy for you now you must go home and look for a nice gown you are going to wear"
"Well thanks,bye"
"Bye" as she went to her dads car.
I sat on a table near the gate waiting for dad to come and I saw my moms car staring at me.as I went to her.

In the next chapter try and figure out what's going to happen in the party.🤔
