Growing up they said that your soul mates eyes are the only color you don't see anywhere else, and that you'd meet them at 18 at the earliest and 26 at the latest. But when I turned 18 I started going blind, the doctors said I might never know my soul mate if I don't see them before 19 and a half. I panicked and soon went blind at 19 in my sleep, I cried my eyes out for a week. My family was never there for me and I not being able to see got evicted, so I joined the red army. They took me into the army, And that's where we are right now.

Present tense

I sat in Red Leaders office as I heard foot steps come towards me, I heard someone gasp. I looked up to where I believe their face was, "Who are you?" I asked. "I-Im red leader." He said. I stood up quickly and solute. "Red Leader Sir. I'm here to join." I said. "W-Why are you s-so calm?!?" He asked. "Why shouldnt I be?" I asked. "D-Dont you see my eyes?" He asked. I nodded my head no "I cannot sir. I'm blind." I said. I heard a sob "Sit down please." He asked. I sat back down and waited. I heard him talking Norwegian on the phone and a few more minutes later I heard foot steps and him talking to them, then I felt hands on my face making me jolt. "Don't worry, it's the medics." I heard someone say. Before I could respond I felt a needle in my neck. Then I passed out.

Timeskip

I groan as I wake up, I wipe my face only to feel something on my eyes making me panic. I then felt wires on my arm and face I looked around even though I couldn't see. Then I heard foot steps come towards me. "Sir please calm down." I heard a female voice say. I looked towards where I believe the voice came from "Hmmm..." She said. I heard faint noises and groans of pain, and the faint noise of clicks of buttons. She then spoke Norwegian and hung what I believe was the phone, "Alright sir, Red Leader's coming to get you." She said. I heard frantic footsteps come towards me and then I felt the wires come off, "Stand up." I heard the familiar voice that belongs to Red Leader say. I stood up quickly and he grabbed my hand forcing me to follow. We walked for a while and then I heard a door open and then shut behind me. He sat me down on a chair "Now don't freak out." He said. So many questions filled my head but one was too big to not ask first "W-Whats on my face?" I asked. He chuckled "See for yourself." He said. What did he mean? I can't see? Before I could respond I heard and felt a click on the thing on my face. Things flickered and then I saw the room along with Red Leader, my mouth widened and he handed me a mirror. I saw me and a VR pair of eyes. I looked up to Red Leader and what I saw next made all my questions disappear and one form. His eyes where a deep Crimson Red with tints of red and a little blue, his eyes were unreal. "Are you my soul mate?" I asked. He nodded his head frantically and tears formed in his eyes, I remember my eyes were E/C. "Your eyes were E/C with (another color) tinting them with blotches of (different another color)." He explained. I grabbed him and hugged him and kissed him all over.

I stood up and kissed him all over while I felt warm tears leak out from my head set and he also cried.

Timeskip

I snuggled up into Tord's smaller form as I sighed, he smiled and I sat up making him whimper. "Knew it." I chuckled. " Bitch." He said as he sat up and walked to his desk. "I love you too." I snickered. "Why do you think im saying I love you?!?" He asked. "You say that every mornin' babe" I said rolling my 'eyes'. He sighed and I rolled off the bed falling off the bed and then stood up, I dug through his drawers and grabbed him some clothes. And then did the same for me, I tossed him his clothes and he groaned as most fell on his face. I removed my clothes and then pulled on my new clothes and I turned around to see him blushing madly, I burst out laughing as small tears leave my head set. He slowly changes embarrassed, I lift my head set up wiping away the tears. And suddenly I felt him tackle me, he pulled my head set off further not allowing me to see. He kissed me quickly and I grabbed his hips as he was on top of me, he squirmed away and I sighed. "I-I gotta go to work" he said speed walking out of our room.
