"Excuse me?" Kevin pulled up closer to her, but Juyeon grabbed Kevin's sleeve.
"Miran-ssi!" A woman called and ran to the young female.
"You are being summoned." The older woman said giddily.
"Where-?" Kevin tried pulling away from Juyeon, but Juyeon would not budge from his hold.
"Yes." Miran bowed obediently and stared into Kevin's eyes.
They both stared with confusion.
"No staring at men!" The lady slapped Miran on the head harshly.
"I am leaving." Miran said and the lady walked off first.
Miran followed slowly after, and Juyeon finally let go of Kevin's sleeve.
Kevin ran after her immediately when Juyeon let go.
"Miran." Kevin called.
Miran made a quick face of anxiety.
"Are you-." Kevin spoke English.
"a traveler?" She finished in English.
Kevin grew excited and felt a huge amount of relief.
He did not know his heart was pounding so hard when he caught her.
Juyeon followed shortly by the door, but hid behind when he heard them speak a foreign language.
"I am so happy someone else is here." Kevin breathed with a bright smile.
"Wait, is this a prank though?" Kevin chuckled.
"No. But if anything, I am a princess!" She crossed her arms acting cool.
"What is your real name?" Kevin got closer to her and they spoke quietly.
"It's Scarlett." She smiled.
"I'm Kevin." He introduced himself.
"Miran!" The same old lady yelled.
"If you're a princess, we shall meet again. I am the-." Kevin paused.
Is it safe to tell her?
I am in disguise for a reason...
"You're the what? The king?" She assumed.
"Miran." The old lady's voice grew impatient and closer than before.
"Meet me here again, same time." Kevin said.
Miran nodded and ran off.
Whew. A person from the future,
like me.Kevin casually walked back inside the doors and saw Juyeon browsing the store.
"Where did you go?" Juyeon asked quietly.
"Air." Kevin lied.
Juyeon nodded and gave a bright smile, "Let's go get back to the palace." He patted Kevin's back.
"You're going to have to catch up a lot." Juyeon said with a hint of excitement.
The two boys got back to the palace safely.
Or so, they thought.
"Seong-gye hyung." A voice said inside the room the two boys changed in.
"Hwall?" Kevin said out of habit.
"What did you say?" Hwall asked seriously.
"I do not want to play archery with you two. I already did my routine."
Kevin nodded.
"You should stop doing things like this, you are grown." Hwall said.
"Prince Hyunjoon, please forgive your older brother." Juyeon bowed with a mischievous smile.
"Prince Juyeon, please." Hyunjoon said with sarcasm.
"I heard you are going to see Princess Hyesoo today, is this true?" Hyunjoon walked in circles inside Kevin's room.
"Oh, yeah!" Kevin answered.
"Oh Seong-gye, you're going to see the princess?" Juyeon asked teasingly.
"Am I up to date?" Juyeon joked.
"I am going to see Madam Miran." Kevin recalled his blurry memory.
Juyeon stopped laughing quickly and made a blank face.
Hyunjoon dropped his hand from behind him, and stopped his pace.
"Madam Miran?" Hyunjoon turned his face to Kevin with confusion and what can be easily mistaken as anger.
"Who is that?" Hyunjoon looked angry now.
"Miss Hyesoo!" Kevin exclaimed when he remembered correctly.
"Hyunjoon.. I am pretty sure Seong-gye got mixed up with a courtesan or something." Juyeon attempted on lightening up the mood.
"Treat Hyesoo correctly King Seong-gye, and please take care of the kingdom." Hyunjoon's face bored into Kevin's.
"Oh Prince Hyunjoon! Do not tell me you still have a little crush on Miss Hyesoo! Did we all not have a crush on her when we were young?" Juyeon joked again.
Kevin stood awkwardly, he knew there was tension in this conversation.
It was really awkward looking at Hwall being angry at him as well.
This was just by far the most weirdest situation Kevin has been in.
"Courtesan's names are not necessary to remember." Hyunjoon said and walked away slowly without turning back.
There was also a small slam when Hyunjoon closed the doors.
"Miran?!" Juyeon whisper-yelled.
"Seong-gye?! You're going to get both of us killed!" Juyeon said cautiously.
"Why?" Kevin asked a simple question.
But, that was so difficult to answer.
"Seong-gye, I think you were born yesterday." Juyeon sat exhausted.
If only you knew.
"I guess I probably will not get to tell you today, but I really wanted to tell you." Juyeon spoke.
Juyeon got up close to the doors.
"Well, tell me!" Kevin grew curious.
"It is too special to just say in a room. You are going to have to wait, my king." Juyeon smiled charmingly and said his farewell.
This. is. the. most. weirdest. situation. ever.
"Seong-gye!"
