Kevin saw a woman with silky black hair, face pale as a cloud, and dressed like royalty.
The hair instantly reminded him of Miran.
However, the face was powdered and unfamiliar.
"King Seong-gye! Greetings!" She bowed beautifully with a smile.
"Hello." Kevin greeted back.
"Are you excited to join me?" She asked.
Kevin put the puzzle together,
She has to be Hyesoo
"Of course, Hyesoo!" Kevin gave that dorky smile.
Her face flushed red in embarrassment.
It was like her heart was giggling.
"I should be away more often." She touched her hair, admiring herself after Kevin gave her such an excitement.
"I would love to have dinner and return to work." Kevin tried acting like a king.
"Dinner?" Hyesoo gave a confused look.
"I was expecting our usual." She continued.
Kevin wanted to scream because everyone wanted him to do some special routine with them.
"I wanted to do our usual, and then have dinner." Hyesoo walked around in circles in Kevin's garden.
"But if we are skipping the usual, I do not mind having a bigger dinner, because my parents wanted to invite themselves." Hyesoo giggles shyly.
Kevin felt this awkward jelly feeling.
He wasn't jealous,
he just felt like a jello.
Because this woman was just shining every time she spoke.
She was very soft.
"You are very pure." Kevin spoke remembering a line from a Historical Korean drama.
"T-Thank you King." She stammered.
"I am going to roam around the palace, and wait until we go to dinner." Hyesoo told him.
"Okay." Kevin answered.
Hyesoo watched Kevin turn around and walk away.
I still wanted to do the usual, was that too much to ask for?
"Princess Hyesoo!" A voice came with loud steps.
"Prince Hyunjoon?" Hyesoo squinted her eyes to see a grown man.
"I have not seen you since you were an adolescent." Hyesoo said surprised at his features.
"I am far more taller than you." He smiled like a winner.
"I think your looks are younger than mine." Hyunjoon said as he cautiously caressed her face.
"No." She flinched and backed away.
"I am far more older than you." She used his words and made it hers.
He smiled softly at the act.
"Princess Hyesoo, you are only the same girl I have met."
Hyesoo's facial features stressed as she heard him speak to her like that.
"Was I first to greet you?" Hyunjoon felt prideful.
"No." Hyesoo answered simple and short.
"Then who?" Hyunjoon felt his pride be tampered on.
"Your older brother, Seong-gye, the king, Seong-gye!" She gushed with a bright face.
Hyunjoon felt his body harden and grow cold, but when he saw her smile so bright, he melted into a smile again.
"I am glad that we have welcomed you Princess." He bowed.
Hyesoo finally smiled towards Hyunjoon.
"Thanks!" She swayed her dress.
"I am going to roam the palace." She told him.
"Let me show you around." He courtly said.
All she gave was a nod.
Kevin carefully looked at his surroundings and ran to his room.
What the heck am I suppose to do?
How do I do these duties?
Are there anymore people here with the same situation?
I want to see Miran or something.
Kevin closed his eyes tightly desperately.
"King, we have brought some papers for you to work on." Youngjae's voice reported.
"Please come in here." Kevin said while he leaned his head on the wall.
"Uh- King? Are you okay?" Youngjae cautiously walked in the room.
"I am just frustrated." Kevin threw his hands to his face.
"Frustrated..." Youngjae repeated and snapped his finger to represent an idea.
"Should I bring in your stress reliever?" Youngjae asked with a gleam in his face.
Kevin lifted his tired face up to see Youngjae run out of the room.
Stress reliever? What am I going to do? Play archery?
Kevin slumped his body onto his bed and took off the heavy cape.
Everything is hot in this room.
He took of all his crazy layers and was left with his pants. But in this time period, they are considered drawers.
Kevin closed his eyes, "Maybe I could sleep... and wake back up..." he rambled and the door opened in only a matter of minutes.
"Welcome back." Kevin said assuming it was Youngjae.
The footsteps only walked in.
Kevin raised his body and blinked his eyes slowly.
His vision was a blur.
"It is so hot in here." Kevin said slowly with a whine.
The person instantly collapsed, and Kevin was startled widening his eyes.
"M-Miran?" He was a stuttering mess.
"Oh god! Kevin!" She yelled in the most ugliest voice. Like she was making a vine or something.
"Kevin!" She sobbed into her hands.
"W-Why are you crying?" Kevin pulled the blanket slowly to cover him.
"I'm not a princess, I'm a freaking joseon time's prostitute!"
