Levi POV:
“Levi! OMG Get your fat ass over here! X-Factor is about to start soon!” Maddie, my roommate shouted to me from the living area of our dorm. See I was currently in college in London, and I was studying graphic design, with a minor in music and both me and Maddie were huge fans of X-Factor and were even bigger fans of the boy band called One Direction that were originally solo auditions but had formed a group at the beginning.
“Oh my gosh, calm your non-existent tits Maddie.” I sassed back at her as I came into the area carrying a rather large bowl of melted cheese, don’t judge me for eating melted cheese, it’s so good you don’t know what you’re missing till you try it.
“Oh ew…please tell me you’re not goanna eat that.” Maddie said with her face all scrunched up as she combed her long raven colored hair to the side as the opening sequence for the show began.
“Hey don’t knock it till you try it Mads.” I said with a eyebrow raised as I dipped my fork into the delicious bowl of cheesy goodness.
While we continued watching X-Factor, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. It had better be someone important or my mom is on her death bed to disturb my “me-time.” I felt my frown disappear as I saw who it was that was texting me.
Irish Lover <3: Hey babe, me and the lads are about to go on, hope you’re watching cuz we’ll beat everyone and blow the roof off this place all for you :*
“Aww is it Nialler again?” Maddie cooed from beside me as she smiled at seeing me practically glowing with happiness.
“Yeah, he hopes we’re watching, and he’s being all adorable and cutesy.” I said as they announced that One Direction was next to perform their song for this week. So me and Maddie intently watched my boyfriend and his new four best friends sing their hearts out this episode.
Later after One Direction had finished singing for tonight, I got out my phone to text Niall back about the performance.
Nialler’s Baby <3: So I saw you performing baby, you were incredible tonight babe, I mean so were the other lads, but you were the star tonight I just know you’re goanna make it through tonight with the lads :) I love you so much babe xoxo
After putting away my phone I turned to see Maddie still intently watching the show clinging to every word that was said like her life depended on it. See, Maddie has this dream of being a musical success and doing big things with her life, so she constantly is watching X-Factor and other talent shows like that for some kind of inspiration, at least that’s what she says anyway. I get up to go get some more cheese when I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket yet again.
Irish Lover <3: Aww stahp it! You’re making me cheeks rosy red :3 anyways I overheard something from Simon. He’s already thinking of signing somebody! I don’t know who it is, but it’s so cool that he has spotted somebody who he wants to get :D Anyways, got to go cause they’re goanna announce the winners and losers are of this week, talk to you soon baby :*
I grinned from ear to ear at the thought of Simon Cowell signing somebody before the winner of the X-Factor is announced. I returned to the sofa where Maddie was anxiously chewing her fingernails. I swear she’s addicted to this show. Baby I’m addicted to you! Shakira reference for the win! I swear I think I have problems with being obsessed with music myself. I must have missed something because when I was looking back at the screen, I saw my baby crying and the other four lads sad and frowning?
“What happened Maddie?” I ask as I turn to my best friend.
“…They-They lost…One Direction just lost.”
