Ryan sat in a lawn chair with a beer in his hands, waiting for Chris to finish with the food.
'Dude, this is taking forever!'

'Stop complaining!' Chris grunted. 'You're lucky I'm even cooking for you heathens.'

Vinny looked up at him from his phone, shielding his eyes from the sun. 'You offered to!'

'And it's the last time I'll do anything for you idiots.' He said, before turning off the grill and putting everything on plates.

'Ugh! Finally!' Ricky said as he walked out of the house with a dingy looking skateboard in his hand.

'Is that my skateboard?' Ryan asked while getting up and walking towards the guys.

'Yeah, I stole it from your house, and forgot to give it back.'

'Just don't mess with it.' Ryan said as he picked up a burger and drenched it with mustard.

'So, does messing with it include eating on it?'

'...no?' Ryan said confused.

'How much do you guys wanna bet that I can skate while eating?' Ricky grinned.

'Five bucks!' Vinny said while chewing on his hot dog.

'No! Don't encourage him!'

'Ten dollars!' Chris said from his spot on the pool float.

'Hell Yeah!' Ricky laid the skateboard on the ground and placed his right foot on it. He moved his left foot along the pavement and started to move.

'Wait! You're on the edge of th-' Ryan tried to warn Ricky. But before he could finish, Ricky slipped on the puddle of water beside the pool. 'Pool.'

'Ow! Fuck!' Ricky groaned in pain from his spot on the ground. All the guys rushed towards him.

Chris jumped out of the pool and went to inspect the damage on his friend. 'Move back, I know that to do.'

'What the hell are you gonna do, grab a guitar string and stitch him up with it?' Vinny mocked.

Chris glared at him. 'No, but you better shut up before I do that to you!'

Ricky clutched the side of his head, where blood started to seep out. 'Now isn't the time for your childish games!'

'You're one to talk.' Vinny mumbled under his breath.

Ryan slowly lifted Ricky up, and looked at his head. 'Damn, Rick. I think we should take you to the hospital.'

Ricky groaned. 'Hospitals suck ass!'

'Like you?' Vinny mumbled, causing Ricky to glare at him.

'Look, I'll go with you, you big baby.' Ryan told his friend.

'Fine.' Ricky pouted.

Ryan sat in a chair next to Ricky, who was sitting on an exam table, messing with the paper covering the bed.

Ryan had his eyes closed, waiting for the nurse to come in.

'This is taking soooo long.' Ricky complained from where he was sitting.

Ryan sighed. 'We've only been in here for 10 minutes!'

'It's not my fault I'm an impatient guy!'

'Uh, yeah it i-.' Ryan looked over as the door opened slowly, revealing a girl with (s/c) skin, (h/c) hair, and (e/c) eyes.
