Chapter 20: Meeting The Relatives

Y/N's POV

{Age: 18}

"So mom is going to visit us today?!"

Me and Cinder are in my dorm when she all of a sudden told me that mom will be visiting us at today's parents' visiting.

"Yeah, she is. She just wanted to see if you're alright after being gone for months."

"I thought that she won't be able to. I wonder what changed her?" I ask myself.

"I'll leave with that dumb thinking of yours." She said then left.

After thinking of a reason why she is visiting us I finally thought of it.

"I guess she just missed me too much. Well I missed her too.........also Sally....." Remembering that also made me remember that I should visit my old home.

I open the window and summon my wings before flying out of my dorm to the sky and to the kingdom of Vacuo.

Finally I arrived at the house that used to be my home and saw that there are police tapes wrapped around the house.

I teleport inside and the place is now dark, dirty and smelly. Some blood was on the floor inside the kitchen when it all ended.

The bullying

The neglect

The hunger

The blood

The haunting words

And most of all the beatings that I've witnessed.

Though there are two things that will never leave my body and soul.

The eternal pain and guilt.

Those two things will always be with me until I die. Not even noticing it that I was crying. Many tears keep dropping on my face and I can't even stop them.

I then remembered something that makes my sadness replaced by anger.

Lucas...

My tears stopped dropping and I clench my fists and gritted my teeth.

"I'll have my revenge soon...... Don't worry Carla..... Nate...." I whispered softly.

I wiped my tears away and slowly walked out of the house before flying a bit far away from Vacuo and walked to a forest and to a place full of flowers where no Grimm will enter. And in the middle of the flowers are to graves with the names of the two people that I loved and lost.

Remembering those happy times the three of us haved made me smile a little.

Just by seeing their faces again makes me happy.

But I guess all things that are dear to you must go right? Or fate just keeps playing with me.

I sit in front of the graves and stare at each of them with a smile.

"Hey Carla, Nate...... How are you two? I know that.....you can't hear me but.....just so you know that I love you guys..."

Tears again started falling on face as I kept talking.

"I don't know why......I'm feeling hurt after all of that..... I........ I missed you... I just wanted you two to come back..."

I've been crying here for a quiet long time now so I decided to head back to Beacon now.

I sit on my bed with an emotionless face as I resist the pain swelling inside me.
