Quick note. Okay, so I was looking for a picture to post on here to kind of describe her room...--> on the side, and i found the perfect one. I'm just now realizing something in that picute that I didn't before. My favorite movie is in there on the tv screen. The first 10 people to guess what the name of the movie is will be dedicated in the next 5 chapters.

Welcome to California the sign on the bridge read. We'd been driving for hours nonstop, unless we needed gas just to end up in Cali. I wasn't really a fan of California because of what happened last time we were here. Actually I didn't think we'd ever come back because of what happened. When we're on the run, my mother had a policy, never go back. And so we don't, well at least until now.

"Look guys," my mom said bringing me out of my thoughts. "I know I usually say never go back, but its okay to this time. There's a nice paying job that wants me, and they're willing to give us a house and enroll you in the best school around."

"Mom that's great," I exclaimed. "I'm happy for you, aren't you happy for her Aiden?" He ignored me and continued to look out the window. "What your problem-" I started.

"Lela, it's okay," she said. "Just ignore him."

"Ya cause that's what you do all the time," Aiden mumbled.

I huffed, but didn't say anything back. We sat in the car for another few hours until we pulled up in front of a building.

"You guys sit here," mom started. "I'm just going to be in and out."

"Okay." As soon as she got out I turned to face Aiden in the back. "So what's wrong with you now?" He didn't answer. "You know what, you're my twin, meaning that you're not going to be able to ignore me that long, so you might as well just give up and tell me now." I huffed when he didn't answer again. "Fine be that way," I said. "Don't talk to me, I don't care."

I got out of the car and went to sit on the hood. Aiden really knew how to piss me off sometimes. A few minutes later he got out the car and came over to me.

"I'm sorry Lela," he said. "It's just that I'm going through something right now."

"And we all aren't," I yelled. "I know what you're going through, I go through it every day, but you don't see me being a brat about it."

"You don't know what I'm going through," he yelled back. "You never will."

"Well I can't because you won't tell me." By now my whole face had turned red while I was screaming at him. "All I ever do is try and see what's wrong with you. I'm always trying to be there for you, but you never let me in."

Aiden groaned. "If I let you wouldn't believe me! You wouldn't care, so stop pretending like you care now!"

"I've never pretended to care," I whispered even though I knew he didn't hear me. "I thought you came out here to apologize to me, because all it seems like you're doing is yelling at me!"

"You know what," he said walking back over to the car door. "I don't know why I came out here to apologize, it's obvious that you don't care." He got in and slammed the door.

I groaned, why me. I got back in the car, slamming the door on purpose so Aiden could see he wasn't the only one mad. He snorted and then I saw him stuff his headphone in his ears through the rearview mirror. Just then the driver door opened, and my mom got back in the car.
