Leyana Thomas please go down to the office. Whispers among 11 year old Leyana's 5th grade class surrounded her as she walked out of her classroom to the office . As Leyana got to the office she was approached by her older brother David who was crying . "Why are you crying David" She asked as she started tearing up . "Mom and Dad died "David replied as she hugged him and cried . Every since that day she had a sense that she and her older brother were going to make it trough the good times and bad. Leyana and her brother David didn't have any family in New Orleans to live with her so since the day her parents died her and her brother struggled to live but thanks to their dads inheritance they manged to make it . Over the years Leyana and her brother David became closer and David found a special girl that Leyana found to love . Her name is Kimmie and shes everything that not only David could dream of there was a special bond that Leyana and Kimmie have formed over the years . Kimmie was like a sister Leyana had Kimmie was always there for Leyana regardless of what her brother said or did . This is what family feels like .
