Y/n's pov

I slowly opened my eyes squinting slightly at the bright light shining through the trees. I pulled my backpack to where I was sitting. Grabbing a granola bar and eating it slowly thinking about my plans for today. It would be best to keep on the trail and try to find a clearing. Finishing the last of the granola bar, stretching and wiping my hands on my jeans. I stood up, rolled up my jacket sleeves and pushed past the small branches in my way and continued on the trail. The soft crunching of the leaves calming me.

~time skip to about 5 hours~

I sighed in relief as the trail opened up to a decent sized clearing with what looks like an abandoned cottage in the center around it the grass was long but not unmanageable. The clearing was about 20 yards across. It was perfect living space. The creak about half a mile away was a plus too. I trotted to the porch of the cabin looking out at the clearing and did a quick 180.

The door was unlocked and as soon as I twisted the knob the door creaked open. Unlike the outside appearance the inside was fairly nice, I walked though each room learning my surroundings. The living room had a box tv and an old couch, the kitchen was simple with a back door, fridge, an old microwave and one small window that looks out at the woods. I checked the fridge to see if the old owners left any food that hasn't gone bad. To my surprise the food inside seemed fairly new, someone was here recently. This made me on edge, who would be this deep in the woods?

Something isn't right here, I should leave. I thought as I looked around looking for any sign people then looked out the small window and scanned the tree line. I perked up seeing something orange standing out agents the green if the trees. I staggered back seeing it was a person. I scrambled out of the kitchen into what appeared to be the dining room. Stopping to pick up on of the poorly drawn pages, the one I picked up was a tall stick man with some trees around him with the words above it saying 'ALWAYS WATCHES NO EYES' in rushed hand writing. Looking over the whole table it was covered in these. On closer inspection I can see pictures of people some with and X's over their faces, documents of personal information and where their located. I dropped the paper like it was on fire.

Taking a glace behind me though the small window I can clearly see the man in orange is much closer than before. Turning back to the table I took one last look and run for the door I swing it open but run into someone. They gripped my shoulders hard, I looked up at who I ran into and was met with what appears as a girl with long black hair in a white hoodie spotted with random patches of black, her mask was painted similar fashion with holes for eyes and a small box hole for the mouth.
