Alex was sitting on a bench at Sugar house park, drinking her creamy coffee like she did every Saturday morning. She pulled out her phone to read the news. When she pulled up her news app, an article titled "Woman stabbed to death by a man!" Alex's eyes went wide. She continued reading. "The man was described as a 20-30 year old man, tall, Caucasian, with brown hair. The man was wearing a black and white hoodie, jeans and black converse shoes. If you know who this man is, or have any clues to who it is, then call 911." Alex dropped her coffee on the ground, shocked by what she just read. She frantically looked around, wondering if she was being watched. Then, with quick, steady strides, she went to her car. Alex sat with a thump and pulled at her hair in frustration. She knew who did it.
As she was driving home, Alex was debating whether to call the police to tell them that she knows who killed that women. Pulling up to her house, she noticed that her front door was open. Slowly, she got out of her car and cautiously walked up the stairs. Steadily, she looked into her house before going in. She walked into her house and closed the door. Alex realized that her light was on in her bedroom. She realized she probably forgot to turn it off before she left. Still with great caution she walked over to her room. She jumped when she saw Mike sitting on her bed. He had on a black and white hoodie, jeans and black converse. He was cleaning a butchers knife off with a towel he stole from Alex's bathroom. His hoodie had blood stains on the right sleeve.
"Hello Alex." Mike slowly looked up at Alex. "I assume you read the news." He got up and slowly walked up to her. She stood still as he approached her. He dropped the towel he was using to clean his knife. Alex looked down at the towel and saw it was full of blood. "What are you doing here." Alex finally said to Mike. He laughed and stood right in front of her.
"Don't be scared I am not going to hurt you." Mike said as he twiddled the knife in his hands. "Then why are you here. I know what you did. You should leave town before they find you." Miked looked at Alex with a slight smirk. "Why? Because you are going to call the cops? It would be kinda hard to do that if you were dead." Alex swallowed hard. Miked started laughing hard "I am kidding Alex. I know you are not stupid enough to call the cops."
Alex was scared but she stood up tall and started walking towards Mike as she did he stepped back till he was leaning against the bed. "And what if if I am stupid enough to call the cops?" Alex waved her phone in front of him. Mike looked at Alex and frowned. He quickly and swiftly walked behind her and put the knife to her back. He bent his head down till his lips were close to her neck. "I wouldn't do that if I were you Alex." Mike whispered against her neck. Alex shivered. Mike put his hand in front of her face. "Now give me the phone Alex. I really don't want to hurt you." Alex was slowly giving him her phone.
Then suddenly she stepped on his toe and ran towards the door. Alex started dialing 911. Her phone started calling them. "911 I know who killed..." Mike ran towards her and turned her around so they were facing each other. He threw the phone out of her hand. "I warned you Alex." He quickly stabbed her in the stomach and pulled it out of her slowly. "Hello? Mam are you ok." The phone said. Mike realized that the cops heard everything he just did. He walked to the phone and picked it up. "Come to 8090 Avenue street." Mike hung up and thru the phone across the room and watched it shatter. He picked up Alex's car keys and left. Alex heard the police sirens. They came in the house and saw her on the floor bleeding out. "Mam are you ok." Alex turns to them "Mike did this." she said quietly. "Who? Mam who did this to you." She said louder "Miii" Alex fell to the floor. The police took her pulse. She was dead.
The next day the new paper read "Another woman stabbed. Who is this murder and what will he do next?"
