Life is one big roller coaster. Not everything goes the way people planned. People die, houses are lost, people become homeless, and starving, kids get shot. It's just one long endless way of telling a story. Most people believe they have the worst lives. But it's not true. Everyone's life is the same. It doesn't matter if you're poor, or homeless, or helpless. Everyone has ups and downs. This is a story, of a girl, who's life changes because of one, simple thing.
-
Margot Hunter. Who? Well Margot Hunter is a girl who's life has problems and issues. It didn't all start that way. And here is the story to why.
-
A cold winter night, nipped at Margot's nose as she sat in the foster care department all alone. Her doctor had given her the worst news anyone could ever hear.
-
Margot, had cancer. What kind to be exact? Leukemia. Her parents, couldn't afford to keep her anymore, so they sent her off to a foster program.
-
She sat cuddled up in a blanket, while people walked around working. A tall, skinny, man with dark hair sat down next to Margot. "Hey, don't worry. I'll find someone for you." He said softly. His name? His name was Thomas.
-
Margot shrugged. "Is there any reason for me to be around anymore?my parents don't want me, who else would want me?" She asked him, hope filling her eyes.
-
Thomas sighed hanging Margot a cup of hot chocolate. "Well, there's a family for everyone, and I know someone is out there." He stated simply.
-
Margot shook her head. "No. My parents couldn't keep me because of my cancer, they couldn't afford it. What makes you think my new family will afford it?" She asked while sighing in frustration, and nervousness.
-
Thomas sighed standing up. "Hey, all you need is hope." He patted her on the back before walking away. Is that all Margot needed? Hope? No, Margot doesn't need hope. And she never will.
