Assalamualaikum!

In this chapter, I am going to talk (write lol) about ambitions or goals in life.

You know, everybody has goals that they want to achieve. Whether you realize it or not, humans always have ambitions—because it is what keeps us alive.

When we no longer have ambitions in life, that is the end point of our life. Therefore, it is the very end of the street and I'm sure once you don't have ambitions in life, you are going to think that life is pointless. That's why many people commit suicide. Why? Are they depressed? Are they lonely? Well, that's a part of the reason but the main thing is that they have lost their ambitions in life.

am·bi·tion

amˈbiSH(ə)n/

noun

• a strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.

• desire and determination to achieve success.

See?

The real thing is since you were a kid, you have always had an ambition or goal or target that you wanted and felt like you had to achieve it.

When you were 3, you probably wanted to go to school. When you were 10, you wanted to become a freshman someday. And when you were 14, you must have wanted to continue your studies in university or other educational institutes or perhaps you wanted to work and so on. But the main point in each situation is the same. YOU HAVE A GOAL TO BE REACHED.

So, what's our actual ultimate goal in life?

I say, as Muslims, there is nothing more grandful than being admitted to Jannah. Therefore, our ultimate goal is Allah's Heaven.

So when you try to reach for your desire in life, dont't lose track of what you have to achieve in the Hereafter, that is Jannah.

Keep on working hard for what you want. Don't mind what others think of you when you try to reach for your success, because there's always going to be people who simply don't like you in a happy state. They want you to be down, depressed and hopeless. It's just the way life is.

This is a motivation to all of my friends who are striving for universities—just remember, we have Allah.

"Run after Islam, the dunya will run after you."

Salam.
