She rarely cried. Her father said it was because she could control her emotions. Her mother said that it was because she had no emotions. Both were wrong, she had cried too much, she had been broken so badly that the storm of emotions within her no longer had an escape. It made for a much easier time in many situations. When the world tried to step on her for a reaction she just brushed it off. Nothing hurt anymore because it was all relative to that day.
