There is a growing belief in the idea that man has become the apex predator only because of its ingenuity, in many ways that is true. However, when we analyze how often their "Ingenuity" either kills them or fails to protect them from the true apex predators we realize that even though they dominate their planet, they are still hunted by the species that they claim to have beaten on the food chain. Even the creatures that they mastered often turn on them. Which is why many of our kind claim that even though humans are intelligent, we should not ally ourselves with them because they cannot fully dominate their own planet. They argue that on top of their inability to conquer their own planet they cannot even unite their own species, they still engage in the killing of the same species. I do not renounce that argument nor do I agree entirely. I am instead proposing that perhaps we should look into their benefits as well. They band together relatively easy, not only that but they pack bond with nearly anything that they can in some way shape or form relate to and would go to extreme lengths to protect that pack. They build quickly and recover even quicker. They have become the masters of emergency solutions and quick thinking through absolute necessity and they tend to make decisions that, in that moment, benefit the whole. I'm not saying they're perfect or that they will make an extremely valuable ally. I'm saying that these sentimental creatures who love their planet so dearly would most certainly become a strong asset when teamed up with our intelligence. We can use them, and form a symbiotic relationship of sorts.
