Zoe POV
"Guess who's birthday is it today. " I hear my aunt say
"mrfps. " I say still sleepy
"oh come on I made cake and I got you a present for nothing. "
As soon as I heard the words cake and present I got up.
"cake, presents were"
"Wait a minute you're not getting you're presents until you get you're lazy butt of this bed. And get done there are some people waiting for you down stairs. "
Me being curious I quickly got up and want to the bathroom I did my business and had a quick shower.
Waiting down stairs is for me is my friends. Matthew, Stacy, Hayden and Lucy. Lucy is Hayden's 8 year old sister.
"Zoe! I miss you"Lucy said running to me. "happy birthday. "
"awwe thanks Lucy cakes. "
One by one they all huge me and wish me a happy birthday to me.
When it comes to Matthew it is kind of weird but I still hugged him.
"now just because it is you're birthday doesn't mean that you can stay at home. Move your butts out of this house and get to school. "My aunt says
"fine, love you "I say giving her a nice smile and the puppy eyes
"haha nice try but it is not going work. Now go."she says pushing us out of the house
*at school*
Waking into school I feel happy for once. Today is a special day.
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took it out. Me not looking were I was going I walked straight into someone.
The person in front of me making me soaking wet.
"s-s-sorry I wasn't looking were I was going I didn't mean to wet you. "The girl in front of me said.
"No it's OK I wasn't looking were I was going. " I wanted to get my phone but it's not in my hand it's on the floor... in the puddle of chocolate milkshake.
Great now I am wet and I need a new phone.
"o-ok I w-will just go"
She passes me and I think what now... Huh I don't have any Clean clothes If you didn't notice I am not the type of person to always be prepare .
I hear the bell ring indicating that it is time for classto start. I walk in the classroom. When I walk in the classroom I sit down and then as soon as I hit that chair Steffny starts talking none stop and what is worse is that she is talking about the same pair of pink shoes she got and saying that it was so cheap. What cheap shoes is 5 000 bucks.
When the bell rang I ran out the class not wanting to hear about pink shoes any more. Me not seeing were I was going I slipped on something on the floor and then it was dark.
Now guess we're am I...
In the Nurse office...
With a cast...
On my broken arm...
This day couldn't get any worse.
"miss. Collins you're going to have to stay in that cast for about 3 months. The nurse says coming in.
I spoke too soon.
"what 3 months I can't this is my right arm and I write with it and as you can see it's broken and we're about to write our final examination and now I can't and if I don't do it this year I might never be a senior. My hole life working so hard.... "
"miss can you please stop talking we need you to rest. If you keep on taking you're medication we provide you for you're arm might heal faster. "
It wow how fun yeah let's go sit at home and to absolutely nothing (note the sarcasm )
As I walk through school I notice there is little children. I look at my watch on my not broken arm. The school just came out. Me being me I go to the library and get more books. I now you might wonder why you would spend you birthday in a library but it's really fun to read.
Me being me i take at least 3 books to read. I sit down and read a little. I pull out my phone and put on music. I was so lost in the book I lost track of time, so when I look up at the watch it is pass 5.
Oh.. No.
I must have not heard the librarian say it is time to go.
Why did I decide to spend my birthday in a library. I walk out of the library seeing that it is still open the doors I quickly hurry to my locker and look for my diary. I can't find it anywere I looked everywhere but it's no where to be found
No no no no it can't be missing. Just then the lights want out. Making everything shut down and making the school go on lock down. Meaning it's not going to open till Monday because today is friday.
This is the worst birthday ever the last couple of years might have been bad because my mom is gone, but this year is the worst I am currently locked in the school and I lost the only thing that reminds me of my mom.
I sat down with my back against the locker. I start to cry. I start to wish
Wish I could be with my mom...
Wish I could be home not in this school...
Wish i had my diary...
Wish I could start th is day over...
That when it happened. I started to glow, I stand up.
The events of today is going back like it is rewining everything.
Just then I am woken by someone
"guess who's birthday it it today."I hear my aunt say
'wait what'
