"Lisa,meet me in Haven during lunch.We need to talk."That was what the note said.As I held that piece of white paper,my hand trembled."We need to talk"I turned around to looked at Maya,my bestfriend but she kept her head down.The bell rang.I got upand grabbed my bag.I walked up to her trying to act as casual as my body would allow me to."Maya,are you coming?"I asked.She continued scribbling,"I'll be right there,"She muttered.She did not look at me.
As I walked to that same old spot we loved to hide out at,that same staircase by the abandoned Biology laboratory,the place we called Haven,the only thing that played in my head was the note.We were two peas in a pot and had been friends for ten years."What did I do?"I thought to myself."Or did something happen to Adam?"
They were never really happy together~Maya and Adam.When they met,they immedietly liked each other.They began dating and at first everything seemed perfect.Not long after,they began fighting day in and day out.She caught him texting to other girls on his phone.While she felt the pain,I felt the anger "you are too good for him,"I finally siad to her.She did not balieve me and told me to stay out.
