"This has to be perfect, I can't just give him a half done gift," I said on the phone to Nejire.

You see it was my husband's and I 7th anniversary. We had gotten married two years after we graduated from UA and had our first child one year later. "Fine, fine, how about this. You and Mirio go some special for the weekend and Eiji and I take care of Yuuta while you're gone." Nejire suggested.

"Are you sure? I mean, it's not like I don't trust you with Yuuta or anything. I just haven't been away from Yuuta for so long like that, and both Mirio and I have things to attend to and-" Before I could even continue Nejire cut me off.

"(Y/n) your rambling," Nejire stated with a chuckle. "Just calm down, it wouldn't hurt to take just two days off. You and Mirio have had a lot on your plate, him getting his quirk back just last year and having to re-master it and you having more Heroes come to your office. It's been tough for both of you, you need a break, it would be perfect. So what do you say."

I thought over it a little bit more and sighed. "I'll see what Mirio thinks about it. I do like the idea, it's perfect, I just want to know if Mirio agrees. I'll call you when I get his answer," I said to her before I hung up.

It's true what she said things have been quite busy lately, Eri did figure out a way how to bring Mirio's quirk back without reversing his body. And I have been receiving a lot of requests to make new gadgets for Heroes. It's been very hectic and I'm not going to lie, I do need a break.

"Yuuta, Mirio, I'm home," I said closing the door behind me.

"Mama, your home," Yuuta ran up to me and hugged my waist. I patted his head as I smiled. "Papa said he's gonna make lasagna today. But he's not home and told me to stay quiet and make it look like I went with him," Yuuta said with an innocent smile.

Yuuta loved to expose his father for the funny things he does, especially things like this because Yuuta knew exactly what was gonna happen. "How much longer until he gets home," I smirked.

"2 more minutes," He said.

"Alright."

Time Skip (very short one)

I sat there on the couch with Yuuta sitting on my lap waiting for my lover's arrival. "Yuuta I'm back, did mom come-" His eyes landed on Yuuta and I as I looked at him with a smirk with Yuuta smiling in excitement, "home..."

I began to speak in a weird accent letting him know that I was joking. "So I have noticed that you have left our 6-year-old son all by himself in this house. I feel sorry for the poor boy, his father leaving him home to buy the ingredients for the lasagna, such a shame," I said in the most dramatic way I could. Yuuta began to laugh at the way I was acting and the look on Mirio's face.

Mirio chuckled and closed the front door. "Haha, right, I'll make sure to take him with me next time," Mirio said with a laugh. He put the bags on the ground and began to speak with an accent similar to mine. "But you, Yuuta, I have told you were forbidden about telling mom about the lasagna." Yuuta jumped off my lap and ran into the kitchen as I could hear his delightful laughter.
