You woke up the next day not in a panic for the first time. You then started to pack everything; you did not dare to enter your dad's room until the end. So the day goes by, and you pack. Item by item, it started it feel real. Your father was gone. Without a goodbye, he was gone. Tears slowly began to go down your face.
"I missed you, I never stopped thinking about you, not even for a moment, and I am sorry this all happened."
You look around. No one is there, "Dad, was that you? I missed you, dad. Why did you die? Why is all this happening," you said out loud.
It is quiet.
"Dad, please talk to me! Dad, I am scared. I do not know what is happening. I need you, please, dad. Please." You screamed. The tears just streamed down your face.
It is quiet; still. No sound could be heard inside the house besides your whimpers.
"I need you, dad," you said quietly as you wiped the tears from your face.
Then all the lights go out, and when they are turned back on, the wall is written: "I did not die, beware."
"Beware? Beware of what?" You are freaked out. You looked everywhere, and there was no one there.
"Beware of what dad, please talk to me." No one replied once again. It was dead silent once again. Until you heard something crash onto the floor above you. It had to be coming from your father's room.
You decided to look in his room to see if there was any clue as to what was happening. So you went to his office to grab the keys for his bedroom upstairs. Your heart was beating out of control. You did not know what you would find up there. Or even if there was going to be anything. You reached the door and pressed your ear against the wood to see if you could hear any noise. There was one noise you could not make, and it sounded like a creaking. You slowly moved your head away from the door and unlocked it. You were taking a deep breath to prepare for what you might uncover when you entered the room. You turned the doorknob slowly and began to push open the door. There he was, that shadow standing there right next to your father, as he is hanging from the ceiling. Your father's lifeless body swings back and forth. Well, that man laughs at you. He has the biggest smile on his face.
"Aw, is someone crying? I thought you wanted him dead, and you never came to visit. You left daddy to die, and this is your fault," he said in the most profound groan and snapped his fingers.
Your dad raises his head, "Runaway g..g... get OUT! " he fights to get the words out, and then his eyes turn red. This is not your dad anymore.
