Imagine: The Grandmaster has taken you hostage and Loki sees you from across the room

Shit. This is bad. Really bad.

The chains around my wrists are tight and rub against my skin, drawing blood. I focus on the chains. I channel all my powers to the chains. I look down, expecting my hands to be free from the shackles.

"Don't even try any of your power stuff here," comes a voice from beside me. "Those chains won't let you do anything funny, so don't tire yourself." A heavily armed guard drags me down the hall by my arm. My short legs have to run to keep up.

"Bite me," I say, spitting in his face.

"Ooh feisty little one aren't we?"

This isn't how this mission was supposed to go. It was supposed to be in and out. I was supposed to rescue Thor from the Grandmaster and Tony and Steve would pick us up a mile out of town. Instead, I walked right into a trap. I took out more than half the guards but before I knew it, I was being yanked down the halls in chains.

We reach a large door at the end of the hallway. What was inside filled me with so much anger. If I wasn't in these cuffs, this whole town would be demolished by now. The grandmaster sat on a throne in the center of the room. To his right sat an old woman and to his left sat an old friend. Former old friend. I hadn't seen him in years. Not since his dive into the wormhole. He left me and Thor to deal with his leftovers. We mourned for him. I cried myself to sleep every night for 3 weeks after that, thinking I would never see his face again.

Now, here he sat, staring intently as I await my doom. Finally, he stands. The room echoes as his feet hit the ground. A cold hand cups the side of my face and it takes everything in me not to elbow him in the stomach. His eyes well up with tears.

"Y/n?" his cold voice rattles my skeleton.

"Loki."
