Imagine: Everyone's reactions when you use your powers for the first time

They was surrounded. The creatures that Loki released were everywhere. I couldn't even help. Everyone thought I'd be safer in the control room with Nick and the others. No one knew what I was capable of.

When I saw my big sister Natasha was hurt, I had to do something. Jumping out the window, my back opened up and a pair of giant hawk wings came through, landing me safely on the ground. Being too caught up in the war, no one had noticed.

That was until every creature was focused on me. They can smell power. And you were pulsing with it. The creatures were closing in. Everyone was unconscious except for Steve and Natasha. Looking over at them, I mouth "I'm sorry"

Then they lunged.

The things were all over my back, bringing me to the ground. Trying my best not to panic, I wrap my wings around me and curl into a ball. Searing pain tore through my wings. All at once, I threw open my wings, sending the monsters flying to the ground.

The ones still living got up and lunged again. Focusing everything on the creatures, I clench my hands into fists. When I open them, a gold light shoots out all around me, smashing into the remaining creatures.

Out of breath, I look down at my hands. Then, I check on my wings. They were scratched up but they still worked. Finally, looking around at the mess, I focus my attention on the team. Mostly everyone was awake by now. They were speechless.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys before," I say in a shaky voice, still tired from the fight.

Suddenly, Steve wraps his warm arms around me. Everyone else joins in.

"It's ok, y/n. We're here for you," Steve says.

"Yeah, you saved us," Bruce adds.

Natasha rubs my head, "Not too bad, little sis."

I smile as I embrace my loving team.
