Chapter 8-Trespassed

10 am

"So daddy remained at your place and had breakfast the next day?" Jenn asked while sipping her Starbucks drink.

"Yeah and to be honest,it was a big expectation v/s reality fail." I replied and facepalmed after thinking how rude he had been towards me despite all the help I had offered.

"But don't judge him at the beginning itself.Everyone has a different perspective of life."Carl advised

"You are right."

7:30 pm

I had a pile of assignments waiting for me on my study table but I felt like watching a movie.

Knocks
Who could be at the door at this time?

"SURPRISE"
"We are spending a week at your place."

They had around a 10 bags and a huge box of books and clothes.

"Wow ! Thank you so much for coming my darlings...COME IN."

I felt over the moon on seeing my two favorite people just land at my place for a week.We were real besties goal,we experienced the most hilarious situations together.We rarely show the world how close we are;we prefer living for ourselves.

"Look at the amount of assignments you have GIRL." Jenn examined them while Carl was adjusting his belongings.

"I know right but I can't stop procrastinating."

"Well alright we'll do it together then."Carl suggested.

"What about food?" I asked them feeling a bit ashamed for not having cooked the best food for them.

"WE BROUGHT FOOD.We ordered a large Hawaiian Pizza.Don't worry."

8:00 pm:Eating Pizza and doing assignments together.

Messy room,Paper and stationaries scattered everywhere on the mat. Jenn,Carl and I were eating pizza and completing my assignments because if not today,then never.

"I forgot to tell you that we heard a couple of girls' gossip on Aaron Spencer." Carl suddenly notified and Jenn nodded.

"What was it about?"

"They were saying that The Spencers are owners of big shopping complexes and hotels including a Miami Hotel found right by the beach."

"No way.."

"Exactly,we were shocked and by the way,you told us that he had a Lambo so that says a lot."

"And what else?"

"I think his father got married for the second time three years ago after his biological mother died."

"Do you know how she died?"

"Nope."

"Wow,that guy's a mystery.But the ones that attacked him were definitely gang members so you think he is into gangs and illegal stuff?"

Carl-"Maybe yes or maybe no,I heard that when you are in gangs and you leave,they turn your life into hell."

Jenn-"That's scary."

Carl -"Indeed,that is why joining a gang requires lots of sacrifices and once you are in,there is no way out.It is more like a trap.
You may leave but will they leave you?"

"I want to find more about him and his rich family now." I said while feeling curious.

"I was thinking of something,don't you think that the picture he submitted about a cat looking after nestlings and his comments about it is related to his real life?" Jenn added

"Yeah and maybe the death of his biological mother had a negative impact on him." Carl continued.

"Damn,this is way too confusing but I will definitely try to learn more about him.

7:00 am

I woke up feeling slightly tired.Both Jenn and Carl were asleep.My body wanted the fresh early morning air so I quickly jumped in my joggings and went out.The sky was royal blue and city was fresh with not much cars on the roads.

I decided to wander without a fixed destination as the majority of shops were closed.

While walking,I spotted a huge house,more like a mansion with a large garden right in front of it.It was at the end of a street and had no houses nearby.Where am I?

Shit,I had trespassed a private property.

Right behind me,5 American Pit Bull Terrier drooled and showed their bared teeth as a sign of annoyance.
