Infected by Love

chapter one

Swords clinging arrows going through the air a war has broken out. Bodys dropping like flies. I was just a kid when this was happening I am from the region of war, that is what my dad called it. But one day, he went to war and never came back. Mother seemed mad, and sad so true the year I tried to be good so I would not anger her, and I tried to make her feel better but she just gave up. And pushed me and my sister Lea away. After a year or so she went into her room, and never came out Lea seemed really sad about it I did not know what was going on but I knew I would never see her again. I was so sad after that.

Me and my sister got sent to a place called an orphanage. There were a lot of other kids there some were nice most were mean to me but not to Lea, it didn't make sense to me.

We were there and we spent some of our lives. We left a year later I was seven Lea was ten. We snuck out after lights out we went to a place called Redcliffe.

We went to the castle and Lea got us an audience with the Arl.

"Well hello, little girls what can I do for you?"

"Um...can we live here just for a little while?"

"Well I don't mind let me ask Alistar"

He got up and left me and Lea in the throne room he went up the nearby stairs he came back a minute later with a young boy with blond hair.

"Girls this is Alistar we have talked about it and we would love you to stay it would be cruel to leave you since we are in a war against Orlay."

I smiled because for once we had a place to call home in a long time and that was the best thing that had happened to us in years. Lea seemed happy too she ran over to Arl Emon and hugged him.

 3 years went by and lea she fulfilled her dream to become a soldier and fight the blight or also known as a gray warden. Me and Alistar got sent to the chantry Lea got taken into the gray wardens by a man named Duncan. Alistar and I became good friends and I refused to go with Duncan unless he took Alistar. "Well I can't take Alistair because he is too young but I want to keep you and your sister together if you don't want to go that if fine..." So I went with Alistar to the chantry since the Arl got married to an Orlay which angered many people since it was just after the war, but we were happy for him so I went willingly. But, Alistar seemed mad about it, he broke his mother's amulet. So when Arl came to see how we were doing I gave him the amulet and asked him to fix it but he didn't come to visit anymore. Alistar seemed a little down all the time since we were the same age the chantry never made me not be around him I was like his lost puppy. At one point I had a crush on him but I can hide my emotions and that is my only talent in my opinion. But I have a lot of issues, I just never admit them out loud because everyone has problems right? So what made mine so special?

After I told him Alistar always wanted me around he said that I made him comfortable here like home we were 17 one more year and he would join the Templars I was going to try to go with him or sneak out with him when he left I was sticking by him no matter what with my sister god knows where he's all I have.
