Previously: frowned but that frown quickly turned into a smile "Let's do this!"
"Quest unlocked 'Pay off your Karma" says Ian in a sort of game narrators voice, I gave him a sort of are-you-serious face but he just burst out in laughter, I smirk as i park the car at Panther college.
Funny thing about Panther college they also have a preschool in a cabin about 30 feet away from the football field. Every fricking day I trip over a little kid, trust me i feel bad but the little devils should watch were their going!
Ian stares at me while I give little 5 year old a death glare, I quickly snap out of it since my great friend Ian that I love so much was waving his hand in front of my face,
"Hello, Ken? remember paying off your Karma?!" says a concerned and annoyed Ian looking at me as if scolding a child,
"Ya, ya whatever" I roll my eyes at that remark. Ian's jaw literally dropped,
"Do you or do you not want a semi-ok-life for once?!"
I scowl and finally realize that's all I really ever wanted, "Yes" I say. of course I, the one that knows what everyone is thinking the one that has been everyone's personality one life or another, was still defeated believe it or not.
AT LUNCH...
I sit down at the bench outside with Ian
"Ken do you EVER do anything other than space out?!" Ian says in a annoyed tone waving a hand in front of my face.
"Huh? what happened?" I say looking up dazed like I just woke up.
"What are you thinking about bud?"
"Eh nothing much just past lives and such"
"Yeah, that's no big deal 'eh no not much just thinking about past lives you know that's normal" Ian says mocking me.
"Whatever" I smirk you gotta admit that was pretty funny, but still like it's not my fault I'm special!
"Hey Ken, hey Ian!" screams a Blondie that never speaks to us...
"Um, hello... Kate? am I right?" I say for Ian who just looks startled and in complete shock that the main dumb blond came to us randomly to talk... and seemed... excited about it.
"Yes it's Kate, and i was wondering if I could sit here and eat with you guys."
"Um well sur-" i'm interrupted by Ian,
"Ken we are just about to leave right?" he says while kicking me underneath the table
"Uh... ya we gotta go you know, history and stuff uh, ya, um bye?" I mumble while running after Ian who for some reason is sprinting down the main hall like he is late for a mission, or has to push a button a mile away to save the world.
"IAN!!!! WAIT UP!" yell while he's still sprinting, what is up with this dude! I finally catch up with Ian,
"Dude what what the hell are you doing?!" I barely manage to wheeze out,
that running really took it out of me!
"I am running away from that-that thing..."
"Ian what are you talking about?!"
"Kate! it's... she's..." Ian looks in one direction as and in a split second i see all hope and love and... Ian leave his body, his eyes went black and he dropped onto the dirt, we were now in the courtyard. It was time for class now so everyone was in class... except us.
"IAN!!!" i scream running over to his unconscious body, his heart is beating but i know his spirit... his soul is somewhere else.
A/N: DUNDUN DUUUNNNNNN cliffhanger!!!! i know super short chapter just like the others!!! but i promise a SUPER long chapter is coming up i hope it was the least bit funny but scary at the same time? anyways love you all please comment and let me know what you think and what i should do with the book!
