Louisa's POV
*****
I had never met anyone that shared my love for Jon Bellion and James just seemed to beat my expectations, we chatted and shared a few of his songs that either of us didn't know. He was fun to talk to and we just didn't run out of things to talk about. We had communicated so much in the past three days that I felt like I had met my soulmate, truth was we still didn't really know the important things about the other but I felt like those were the things that should be discussed in person, so I texted him saying I wanted to meet up for coffee the next day since both of us didn't have classes.
He called me at a half past ten in the morning and we agreed to meet at the coffee shop down my street. Surprisingly he was already there by the time I got there. His beards looked scruffy like they hadn't been shaved, his hair, distraught and he had dark circles around his beautiful blue eyes that shone under sun rays and I could tell from the way he fidgeted that something was either wrong or he didn't get enough sleep the night before.
"Hey Pretzels" I said waving my hands to catch the attention of the waitress. Pretzels was the nickname we had agreed on calling each other the night before.
"Yeah, hey" His eyes roamed around as if searching for someone.
"You look disturbed, What's wrong?"-L
"It's nothing" He faked a smile like he was trying to convince me.
"James you know you can talk to me about anything right?" Placing a hand around his hand that gripped the cup as if it were his life.
"I'd be leaving to LA to meet with My Mum in a few days." His shoulders fell dropping the tension from them.
"How long would you be away?"
"Just a few days, five-six or maybe more"
"Is something wrong with her or something?" Over the time we got acquainted he told me that his parents were separated and his mum was getting married in the falls.
"No, it's just my dad threatens to withdraw his financial support if she should get married and she's in a panic, but we'd be going over to meet him with the lawyer and in a few days it should be alright." I was bad at consoling people and I never knew the right words to say and so I sat there running soothing circles into the palm of his hands.
"It would be fine, let's keep our fingers crossed." And he nodded in agreement to my statement.
"Uhmm, how about we go have our bath and meet up at the cinema, I hear the Nun is playing tonight"-L
"I've had my bath, wait" his eyes shine as he widened his lids in realization "don't tell me you've not had your bath" I squinted my eyes in warning. "No wonder the whole cafe smelt of rotten eggs since you walked in" That was enough for me to punch his arm while he pushed his head back in laughter.
"Okay, let's go back to my place so I freshen up and then we leave, plus I need someone to help me pick an outfit else I go in my PJ's" we took a few sips from our coffees and headed back to my place.
Jonathan was fast asleep in his mother's arms as we walked in and my sister was engrossed in her newly found addiction which was game of thrones. They said their hello's and we left to my room.
I spent over twenty minutes in the bathroom, washing and scrubbing while he grumbled loud enough so I could hear him.
"You're taking the whole day in there" he whined.
"Well it's not so easy to maintain a skin as flawless as mine" I yelled back.
"Pffttt you wish honeypot"
"Oh and" I stuck my head through the door "Start picking the outfit else we'd be late, movie starts in an hour" I said quickly glancing at the clock.
I stepped out ten minutes later wrapped in a towel and my hair fell behind me, water dripping from it. On the bed was skinny jeans and a red crop top and strides to go with and right next to them was my purple La Senza underwear.
"When I said help me pick the outfit I didn't mean my undies too" I half yelled while he chuckled mindlessly.
"Whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well" he said with a shrug.
"Yeah perv, what ever let's you sleep at night" I was sitting in front of my vanity table drying my hair when he walked over and picked up the brush to help me.
"You don't have to do that" I stuttered .
"Im trying to hasten up the process" He was so concentrated and his lips where in a pout as he dragged the brush through my hair.
"James?"
"Yeah"
"Are you doing this so you could sleep with me?" I asked stuttering a bit.
"Woah," His hands dropped from my hair "As much as I would want to take that towel off of you and make you scream my name, that's not why I'm doing this. It's nice to have a female friend for once. One that doesn't want to bang me" He said placing his hands on my shoulder.
"Oh, better. I was beginning to panic" I confessed.
"Wait, you're a virgin!" He said as if I'm realization.
"How are you so sure?" I rolled my eyes at his exaggeration.
"You looked flushed asking that and from the fact that you haven't tried seducing me I'd say I'm pretty sure"- J
"Well yes I am, anything wrong?"
"Woah, I'm stunned"-J
"Well thank you" I rolled my eyes as I got up to pick my clothes before heading into the bathroom to dress up.
It was already half past noon when we left my apartment, the ride there was filled with James trolling me while I whinged and fake cried my way out of it.
