~Her Deal~

Nandini's POV

As soon as candyfloss said about the lunch celebration at the cafe Mr.Malhotra look at me with shock. I knew he would be shocked when he would know the truth, but I didn't that it would be this soon.

With that I placed the plate on the table and moved to the kitchen. On reaching near the slab, I gripped onto the edge of the slab tight with my fist and the unfaithful tears started to flow free from my eyes.

The words Mr.Malhotra threw at me today were no less then venom. The look of disgust in his eyes for me were like daggers to my heart. Even though I knew that Mr.Malhotra would never have the heart to have trust in me but deep within there was some tiny little hope that he would.

But that hope too was now clearly shattered. I didn't know what I did that he thinks so highly of me *note the sarcasm* but then too why did I expect him to have trust on me?

With a bitter smile on my lips I wiped my tears and turned around to stop in my place. There stood Mr Malhotra looking at me directly.

After starring at him for a few seconds and with him not making any move I made my way toward the door. But Mr.Malhotra came in my way again.........huh..........why is he doing this?

I again looked at him and still he was looking at me, I controlled all the anger that was about to burst up and told him with gritted teeth, "Mr.Malhotra, do you want something?" But there was no response from him.

"If your done with your starring then can you please leave my way" I said to him and after that I don't know what hit, he shook his head and moved away from the door.

I made my way towards candyfloss who was eating from the plate. "What is this candyfloss, why didn't you wait for me?" I asked to her in a stern way to which she showed her teeth to me and said.

"I am big girl now Nandi maa, I can eat from my own hands, see" and she showed the piece of Roti with paneer butter masala. I made this cause this is one of candyfloss's favorite dish and..............also Mr.Malhotra's too.

But then too he would never recognize my work, so why do I even bother with him. I should just forget what happened today. With that I took a deep breath and went towards my candyfloss.

"I know my big girl...........but you will always be my small and cute candyfloss" I said to her and flicked her nose to which she gave me the sweet sound of her giggles.

"Now chalo, let's wipe of this beard you have made with the gravy. And now let's make our big girl have her food" I said to her and took the plate from her.

With that I made her finish the food by telling her the story that I had started before. "Nandi maa, enough my tummy is full" said candyfloss patting her stomach to show that it had become round and she also had a frown on her face.

"Achcha.........ye last vala bite.........then we will be done" I said to her and gave the last bite, she also took the bite with a frown. I just smiled at her cute antics. After she finished, I picked her up on my hip and took her to the kitchen.

I kept the plate in the dishwasher and made her wash her hands and mouth. "Now what does candyfloss want to do" I asked her to which she made a thinking face.

I knew that she would that she wants to see the Rapunzel movie, cause she is now in a marathon of seeing all Disney princess movie. "I want to Rapunzel movie, Nandi maa" she said.

"Vo tho already hain candyfloss" I said as I hit the play button on the remote. I placed her on the couch and went to bring some popcorns for her. As she as already had her dinner, I made her the one's with less butter.
