Nandhini's pov
The heart is a muscular organ in most animals, which pumps blood through the blood vessels of the circulatory system. Blood provides the body with oxygen and nutrients, as well as assisting in the removal of metabolic waste. In short heart is an vital organ for a human to live.
Still the same heart becomes a big obstacle in the path for a human to live peacefully and happily. This is the reason for humans to suffer when their loved ones hurt them. Similar was the case with me too.
"Why did he do this to me..............." I cried my heart out for myself and my stupid idiotic fate and the dumb heart which thought that he was even ready to give this relation a chance.
"He could have told that he came here and also asked me to come with only because of Cabir Bhai then I would have smiled and would have accompanied him..................but" the tears from my eyes were not stopping.
Why God.................why is it happening to me only.................
"I thought he was willing............willing to give us................a chance but no.................he still isn't" with that I placed my head on my knees which were brought close to my chest.
As I was crying my eyes out, I heard the door handle being opened. "Nandhini" I heard my name being called and I looked up to find Mukthi Bhabhi with a worried face.
As soon as she saw my tear stained face she came running to my side and sat down on the floor of the restroom. "What happened Nandhini, why are you crying" she asked and cupped my face to make me look at her.
But I launched myself on her. I hugged her tight and cried my eyes out. "What happened Nandhini, you are scaring me now..............tell me please" she said and ran her fingers on my head in a soothing way to calm me down.
After a few seconds when I calmed myself down I removed myself from the hug and wiped my eyes. "Bhabhi, can you please take me to Malhotra Mansion" I asked her with no emotion in my voice.
Yes that place is just Malhotra Mansion for me. It was and never could be my home, ever. "Nandhini but.............." Bhabhi started but I cut her off "Please Bhabhi, I don't want to talk about that, and you won't tell about this to Bhai. Promise me that you won't" I asked her with no emotion on my voice.
At first Bhabhi wanted to protest against it but then she gave in by nodding her head. With that she helped me to get up, after standing I removed my heels and took them in my hand and I walked straight to the car park.
Some people were giving me weird looks on seeing me carrying my heels in my hand but who cares about them and their thoughts, I don't give a damn to the people in the party.
It was like I never existed in the place. And this was the truth, I was never one of these rich people who get some weird kind of pleasure in hurting others.
I went and sat inside my Bhai's car. Bhabhi also came inside and sat on the drivers seat. I don't know and don't care how she took the keys from Bhai. I was just looking outside the window. I could feel Bhabhi's confused gaze on me but I wasn't in any mood to tell her the whole thing.
"You are wrong......................you don't want any kind of problem between Manik and the others, because of you" mocked my conscience. And I gave a smile to it thinking that that was the truth.
I never should have bared my heart to Mr.Malhotra like that. When I was fighting with my conscience I heard Bhabhi's phone ringing. She then attended the call through the cars Bluetooth. "Mukthi where are you" asked the voice which I dreaded the most at this time, Mr.Malhotra.
