Do they miss me that much already? Well, it's not a problem for me but I want to spend more time with Rejine alone. Yes, I have a lot of time to do that but every seconds count for me. I just have a feeling that sooner or later, Rejine will completely vanish from my eyes.
What the! Yesterday, I was pretty much embarassed that she was going in my house but now, what am I thinking?!! Me wanting to spend all of my time with her alone? Ha, is my mind getting corrupted now? Not that I am planning to do something to her. I just want to talk to her, that's all. But still, I am sorry Rejine!
Besides, Rejine might not be comfortable around them for the reason that she don't have someone to talk to while they are in our house.
"Pupunta daw sa bahay namin sina Gio at Jaime sa weekends. Two days from now pa naman." I said as we walked through the street, looking at Rejine.
"Totoo? Bute?" Rejine asked as she also looked at me with a surprised look on her face.
Uh oh. I am assuming she doesn't want them to go in our house, right?
"Pwede ko naman silang tanggihan kung ayaw mo." I suggested while I took my handkerchief in my pocket to wipe off my sweat.
"Nooo! Nagtatanong lang ako! Gustong-gusto ko nga eh. Saya-saya kaya nilang kasama." Rejine said as she smiled at me.
"Ah, I see." I said.
"Kaso hindi ko rin sila makakausap niyan." Rejine responded as she changed her facial expression, her pretty smile turned into a sulky pout. However, she's still beautiful.
"Don't worry. Kakausapin pa din kita kapag hindi sila nakatingin." I jested to cheer her up somehow.
"Okay! Asahan ko yon!" Rejine pointed her fingers at me, smiling.
What a pretty smile! I can look at her all day. Even so the trip seems tiring, just being with her and seeing her pretty smile like this can make me forget how exhausting this day was.
"Two hours na biyahe na naman! Two hours na nakakabagot!" Rejine exclaimed.
"Sandali lang yon!" I replied, laughing.
Then, I added after I suddenly remembered that her home is just the same province as Peachie while we are walking. "Wait pala, ayaw mo bang puntahan muna yung bahay niyo? Malapit lang naman, di ba?"
"Huwag na muna. Hindi rin tayo makakapasok doon." Rejine answered, then she added, "Masyadong mahigpit yung mga bantay doon e atsaka nangangagat mga aso don."
"Wow naman!" I expressed my amazement.
I was thinking she really is from a rich family. What kind of family does she have? Why will they need a bunch of guards at their house if they are not really flourishing financially? Maybe she will share it to me when the time comes.
"Pero walang gusto na pasyalan man lang dito?" I asked.
"Hmm." She uttered with her arms crossed while looking up, thinking. "Maybe next time na lang! Mukhang pagod ka na rin."
"Hinde, kaya ko pa naman." I insisted, trying to look tough.
"Next time na lang nga!" She exclaimed.
"Okay." I responded. "Uwi na tayo."
Since there's nothing more to do here, we had decided to go home already. I have slept throughout the bus trip because of too much fatigue, maybe. I was thinking that Rejine is itching to go outside of the bus already.
After two hours of bus trip, I am already in my home town. Just a little more walking and I will be in my home. Just a little more patience, Andres!
