(Grey day)

"Hey, you good?" Steve asked, taking a seat on the locker room bench. "You've been a little out of it lately. You doing okay?"

"I want a drink."

"You say as an underaged kid to another underaged kid," The blond laughed, placing an arm around the other's shoulders. From where they were, they could hear the announcer shouting out the other teams' star players. "Got about 2 minutes."

"Right," Bucky groaned and rubbed his face.

"C'mon, we gotta head out. Coach wants a chant." Steve helped him up, chuckling softly. "Just fourish more hours and you can run off to your little Clint and some beer."

"He- what? Steve!" Bucky whined as he was led out of the locker room to the field. "He's not that little."

"I like that that's what you chose to say."

"What?"

Steve shook his head and laughed before sliding his helmet over his face.

Clint didn't lie. He did bring a poster that said 'BEAT THEIR ASS BUCKY!!' with a horribly drawn rendition of the fist emoji and surprisingly, he was allowed to keep it up the entire game. Yet, as much as he wanted to enjoy himself with his friends and the girl he may or may not have been crushing on, her ignorance was painful. Each time they scored, mainly between Steve, Thor, and Bucky, Laura would grab his shoulder enthusiastically and jump, yelling and yelling and calling him Claire. It hurt, but he was more scared of his dirty laundry being aired than he was injured by her lack of knowledge.

"I'm gonna go get a drink, you want anything?" Clint asked, nudging Laura lightly. She nodded and told him to just get two of whatever he wanted. Clint pushed past Tony and Vis, nearly bumping Bruce enough to knock him over but Nat held her nerd steady.

"Can I get two Mountain Dews and a popcorn, please?" He asked the lady at concessions.

"Make it three Dews, a water, and one of those Airhead X-Treme packs, please."

Clint sighed and crossed his arms and gave her a half hearted glare as she shoved a twenty into the woman's hand.

"Why are you following me?" He huffed as another girl handed him the drinks and popcorn. Natasha took her candy and shook her head, pocketing the change.

"Not actually following, just checking in. You don't look so good," She said, tucking the bag under her arm as Clint handed her her drinks.

"Just tired," He sighed as he pulled out a ten and held it out to her. "Here, ta-"

"No."

"What?"

"Buck told me to treat you. I would've anyways but he was very specific about making sure you were okay. You've been distant from everyone." Nat's eyes were dark, even in the waining light of the sun you could tell she was serious beyond belief.

"He what? I'm not being distant, I'm just- family stuff."

"I've never seen you so upset about family stuff." Nat stopped him with an outstretched arm and forced eye contact. Clint shifted uncomfortably. "It's Laura, isn't it?"
