Lucy POV

"I said do you want to go on a job with me." "uuhh.. I can't." he said looking like he's trying to think and do something els at the same time. "well ok I'll just go with levy or some one."

I said walking away. "you can't." he put his hand on my shoulder to stop me. I sweat dropped. "and why is that?" "because... you know.." he trailed off. "natsu..." I said concerend. "what's going on?" "nothing." he said.

"are you sure?" "yea." he let's go of my shoulder. he shakes his head slightly. "I'm just not thinking right today." he starts to walk off. "don't go on a mission yet till you got my ok. ok?" "ok?" I said. "wait were you going?"

I said yelling a little. "to clear my head. get some fresh air." I nod. a couple of minutes after he left the guild I did the same to go home. I summon plue.

the street lights came on as I walked down the street. "so plue... natsu was acting a little off today. do you think he's nervous of something or something? what do you think?" "pun pun.." he said looking up at me.

I smiled and giggled a little. "eh? I don't even understand what you say but I'm guessing you would agree to what I would say huh." "pun pun!" I smile an open smile. "yeaa."

Natsu POV

I walked to down to a lake. I took some rocks and started skipping them. after a while I sat down. what was drifting through my mind was sting, lisanna, the guys and how nervous I was going to propose to her.

I sighed and rubbed my head. "oh my gosh." I said looking at the lake. then after a couple of minutes of staring at the view I came to a decsion of just going to let things play out for itself.

I got up and started to walk off away from the lake. I finally got to the streets again. I wonder what job Lucy wanted to go on? hmm. I finally reached Lucy's house. I went through her window. she was playing with plue.

"oh. hey natsu." she said. she was in her pajamas walking over to me. I got down from the window and stood there. she looks up at me.

she stands on her tipi toes and touches my pink salmon hair. she gives me a soft sweet smile. "clear your head yet?" I smile back. "yea I did." she stops touching my hair. "good." she was going to walk away but I grabbed her.

I pulled her in my arms for a hug. boy did I really need a hug from her. her arms rapes around me and her head buddies in my chest. she giggles a little. "what's so funny?" I said. she loosens the hug and I do the same. she walks towards her bed.

"oh nothing. its just your hugs are comfortable." I walk over to sit in the bed with her. I ended up laying down. "well that's good.... so what was that job you wanted to go on?" I asked curiously. "oh it was just a 3 day job for helping this lady look for a brides dress."

I blush imagining Lucy in a brides dress. "you didn't have to go, I just thought of taking someone along with me. I hope no one has took in the job yet."

Lucy POV

I look down on natsu. his face was red. I put my hand on his forehead. "what's wrong natsu? you getting a cold or something? your fave is getting a little hot." he grabs my hand. "n-nothing... just thinking about stuff."

I raise an eyebrow thinking of the things he could have been thinking of. but then I shook it off. "so your  sleeping here tonight?" he nods. "yea. minds well." I started to get a little tired. I turned off the light.

I laid on his chest. it was quiet. the quietness was making me close my eyes more. but I had one question to ask natsu before I fall asleep. "hey natsu?..." "yea?"

"your going to marry me soon right?"

Natsu POV

I was a little stuck on what she said. then I finally answered. "yes." that's when I realized I don't even have to worry or be nervous over the proposal.

cause I know shell say yes.

now I'm all fired up!
