Crystal opened her eyes and stood up in her cage. She looked around the dark room and saw Jet, fast asleep. She heard something faint, yet loud at the same time.
"I'll never have friends, daddy!" She heard Summer cry.
"You're never leavin' this tent!" Her father screamed back.
"I hate-" Summer paused. "Nevermind, daddy... Who needs friends anyways?"
"That's my girl! Now let's wake up the clowns!" Crystal heard the door to the room open and steps coming towards her. "Rise and-" The man shot his attention to Crystal. "Why are you up?! WHAT DID YOU HEAR?!" He yelled.
"N-nothing, Mr. Glasmire!" Crystal answered. "I just woke up because...." She bit her lip tightly. "I wanted to be on time."
"So you're not gonna sass me and my daddy today..." Summer smirked. "Riiiight?"
"Yea... right." Crystal turned around and rolled her eyes. She saw Mr. Glasmire waking up Jet with his whip. "HEY!" She screamed at him. "DON'T TREAT HIM LIKE THAT!"
"Why should I listen to you?!" Mr. Glasmire retorted. "You're just another MONSTER!"
"I-I-" Crystal looked over at Summer, who was trying to make out words. "Nevermind..." Her voice trailed off. "Can I skip this training session, daddy?"
"Yes, pumpkin." Her father answered. What was she gonna say? Crystal thought. She needs to stand up to her dad!

"What's the emergency?!" Jack shouted, breaking down the balcony door.
Elsa ran to him and squeezed him. "Honey! Oh thank you for coming!"
"You said it was an emergency! Sorry about the timing though... it's a long flight back from Japan!"
"Listen, Honey..." Elsa's voice trailed off. "Crystal is missing... we think she was kidnapped."
"WHAT?! NO!"
"Yes, sweetie! But we never saw her leave the castle! Someone must have snuck in." Elsa was holding back tears but let it go and began to sob on her husband's shoulder. "Just... try... to find.... her." She whispered through sniffles.
"I'll find her if it kills me, snowflake."
