A Cabin Conundrum

Cheryll Attkins was spending her family trip to San Francisco alone. Her parents? Well they only came as this was a business trip. Not trusting their 16-year-old daughter to be capable of living alone for a week and a half, they dragged her along with them.

Sitting in a hotel room, told to only leave the room for 3 meals a day with the money she was left, and not seeing her parents for the entire day, Cher felt straight up abandoned.

After a week of the same old routine she felt the urge to seek an adventure, so she did.

She took a hike in Monterey, California.

At first it was all sightseeing and taking in the breath of fresh air she so desperately needed. Minutes later a GPS wasn't even going to get her out of this mess.

Stumbling across a little cabin nestled in the trees, she retreated there. The family welcomed her and she grew close to their eldest son.

They promised each other to keep in touch, and they did. But a long distance relationship is hard to maintain and they grew apart overtime

Two years later Cheryll is living a ecstatic high school life, now entering her senior year with flying colours. Tremendous grades, the best of friends, captain of the girl's swim team, and a swimming all-star boyfriend.

She couldn't be happier, things were perfect. (Notice the past tense)

Well, they were, until Brodie Oakwood rolled into town.

He claims to be Cheryll's legit "cabin boy" from way back.

What's he doing here?

Well, he seeks to recover the relationship they had before.

And to be honest...it was quite intimate.

The past wasn't the best of times for Cher, therefore she tried to push all the memories from the last few years out of her head. Unimportant parts left for good, some stuck out to the surface of her mind.

With Brodie now trying to fight for his rightful place in Cheryll's kingdom, her life begins spinning slightly out of control.

An unbeknownst hottie chasing you, a boyfriend to reassure, efforts to suppress unwelcome memories, friends to keep, classes to excel in and a whole lot more.
