"....We, we dont have to worry 'bout nothing...."

Ugh, I need sleep.

".....cause we got the fire...."

Its 7:00am apparently. But my eyes are still closed. My left hand struggles to find the home button of my phone to turn Off my alarm. I finally get the will to open my eyes which are now blinded by the sunlight that peers through my room.

".....When the lights started out, they don't know what they heard..."

I finally grab my phone with both hands and just decide to press snooze. I sleep for another ten minutes.

{Ten minutes later}

"......We, we don't have to worry 'bout nothing...."

I let out a sigh and finally decide to turn my alarm off this time. I usually wait for the chorus, but today is the day I leave for summer camp. I actually have no idea what we will be doing for the next three weeks, but lets hope its entertaining. I mean, we aren't even allowed to have electronics. What's summer without my phone?

I push myself out of bed miserably, get dressed, and head downstairs for some breakfast.

"You excited?" Mom asks. My mom is one of the perky type of moms that needs everyone and everything to be happy. Common catch phrases she uses almost everywhere are like "Dont worry, be happy!" And "Turn that frown upside down." As well as "It takes more muscles to frown than to smile." Yeah, she has to name facts too.

"Umm yeah. Im excited, I guess." I say, unconfidently.

"Do you have all your stuff packed?"

"Ugh, yes mom, you already asked me that like five times yesterday."

"Well, three times, honey."

"Ugh, whatever."

I decide to skip breakfast and head to my room to make sure everything really is packed. I unzip my suitcase and go through my stuff:

Ellie Goulding beanie hat

Ellie Goulding t-shirts

More clothes

Hair products

Snacks

Tooth brush

Tooth paste

Books

Notebook + Pencil + Coloring utensils

Phone

Earbuds

(As you can see I'm a huge Ellie Goulding fan. I have tons of posters, merchandise, and much more. I practically know everything about her and all the gossip. My whole family is pretty irritated by how obsessed I am. No one really understands my personal fandom as much as I do. Not even my friends).

I had brought a bunch of other stuff, but I had a pretty good feeling that those items were in my suitcase. I'm just so lazy to go through them right now.

I scroll through my Twitter timeline on my phone for about 30 minutes, until mom yells from downstairs that the bus is here to pick me up.

I only said goodbye to mom, because my brother was still sleeping, and my dad left earlier this morning to go to work.

I run out to the bus stop. When I get on the bus, the bus driver asks, "Name?"

"Judith...Judith Wilde?"

I nervously watch him as he flips through the last pages of the list to where he looks at the last names that all start with the letter W.

He moves his pencil slowly down the page until he makes a little mark by my name. He nods to me indicating that I'm now free to find my seat.

As I look through the aisle of the bus, it looks terribly hard to find a seat. Almost all of the back of the bus is filled, the middle is full of boys, and the front is full of girls with pounds of makeup on--or should I say, Barbies?

I find an empty seat in seat #3 on the left. The bus takes off and I look back to my house and see my mom waving back from the front porch. I don't wave back, because she wont see me, plus I dont want anyone else to see me.

I honestly have no idea where summer camp is located, but before I decide to pull out my earbuds and my phone, I overhear the girls in the seat in front of me saying that camp is located in the middle of nowhere. They start talking about which cabin they're gonna choose. They go through the name of these cabins (or as they called them, fanbases):

Smilers

Directioners

Swifties

Beliebers

KatyCats

Arianators

Sheerios

Sinners

Goulddiggers

I recognize these names, because these are the names of fanbases in real life. I'm part of the Goulddigger fanbase on Twitter and other social mass medias, but mostly Twitter. There are millions of other GDs around the world just like me. Lucky for me, I might just happen to be the only Goulddigger in Minnesota.

I start to think that they're not talking about summer camp, just some girly gossip about man crushes and other celebrities.

I plug in my earbuds to my phone and tap shuffle:

Halcyon By Ellie Goulding

I calmly sit back into my seat as I watch the Minnesota cornfields speed by. I close my eyes as Ellie sings into my earbuds,

"......Its gonna be better, its gonna be better..."
