Chapter 2

Sakura's P.O.V.

We arrived quickly at my house as he set me down next to the door. I check my purse for my keys while Itachi patiently waited.

"Hmm, where are they? Oh wait here they are!" I mumble as I unlock my door.

"Come in if you want Itachi-San" I say, while I finally take off the heels.

Itachi comes in, observing her home. 

"Your home seems cozy." Itachi quietly says.

I didnt think he would say that, And I also didnt think that he would insist on bringing me here to my own home.. I didn't know what to say so i said..

"Thank you." I say while smiling and sitting down on a chair next to my shoes area.

"Here, I think these go better with your kimono." Itachi suggests as he reaches out to grab a pair of pink and white japanese sandals (With no heels) that were decorated with red flowers.

"Hm, Nice choice." I say while smirking. "Now may I have them please?" I ask him hurrily, hoping that Ino didnt notice I was gone. I was getting worried that they might be looking for me, so I am trying to be as quick as possible. I dont want her to think i ditched her, And I also do not want to tell her that I left with Uchiha Itachi. I dont want her thinking that HE is my boyfriend.

"No, let me." Itachi silently says while he bends down to slip the sandals on for me.

Why is he being so kind? Was he always like this? Were the rumors fake about him? I guess I would find out if i spend more time with him. He seems like he could be a great friend..

"Itachi-San, You didnt have to do that for me. I couldve done it myself." I explain while we both stand up to leave.

Itachi says "I felt the need. Shall we go now?" 

"Ok, but this time, we are going to be walking. I dont want you carrying me around" I say while we head out and as I lock my door.

Itachi's P.O.V.

I know she may be confused on why I was being kind, Well, I do like to help others even though I dont seem like a nice person. I didn't care though, as long as I helped. We walked down the almost empty streets of Konoha were the festival wasn't exactly near. We had a few conversations here and there, and the rest was pretty awkward.

We were halfway there until a we saw a brown dog running away, and a child that had dropped his coin pouch on the ground. All the coins splattered everywhere. Sakura quickly rushed to his side and helped pick up all of the coins. By the time she was done she gave the pouch back to the little boy.

"Be careful next time, alright? Where are your parents?" Sakura asks, worried.

"T-they are near me right now. I had to chase after the dog that stole my coin pouch." He explained with a few pants. 

"Oh, You are safe! Im so glad! Thank you so much for your help!! What can we do to repay you?" The boys mother asks.

"You guys dont have to owe me anything! Just go on and enjoy the rest of the night." Sakura kindly says with a bright smile.

Her eyes when she smiles... They seem to- Wait, what in the world am I saying? Im only supposed to be out until Sasuke comes back from the festival. I am just walking her back, That's all.

"Thank you so much again! Sayonara!" The father says as the happy family walks back towards the festival.

Sakura's P.O.V. (Sorry for changing pov's so much!)

I watch with a smile as they walk back to the night's festival. I turn around to go back to Itachi's side until I tripped. I await the pain and the thud, but instead I land in Itachi's arms. I look up to him and realize that we were very close. I blush, knowing that we were only inches apart. Heck, I was probably lighting up like a red neon light. 

His lips looked so soft.. I couldnt do anything but stay frozen, Looking like a total idiot.

"Im s-sorry Itachi..San... It's my f-fault. Let's get going shall w-" 

"SAKURAA!!!! What are you doing...here? Wait..." A familiar voice says. "Sakura! Are you in danger?" Ino finishes.

Itachi lets go of my arms and I casually pat my kimono. "No! No of course not Ino!" I yell while giving a fake laugh. "I was just..." Before I finished, I looked back to where Itachi was but he wasnt there. But I caught a glimpse of him jumping from roof to roof. Ino rushes immediatly to my side.

"I was just cleaning my kimono since a bug fell on it and I panicked, hehe" I say nervously. I hate lying to my friend, but I cant tell her about Itachi just yet... Ino will tell Naruto and Sasuke and who knows what they'll do, They may take it the wrong way.

"You're such a scaredy cat, Forehead. Lets get back to the festival now." Ino says while she grabs my wrist.

We arrive back at the festival where it was no different from earlier. It was still the same loud environment. 

"Hey, lets go here! Oh wait, Lets get some yakitori, Wait no lets get takoyaki!" Ino excitedly exclaims.

So for the rest of the night, She drags me to whatever booth she would want to go to, and sometimes at the booths I wanted to go to. We saw beautiful and colorful splashes of loud fireworks everywhere in the night sky. It was truly amazing. It was almost 8:20pm, and the festival ends at 8:30pm. We soon meet up back at the meeting place to say our good byes and see you tomorrows. It was just me, Ino, and Shikamaru. 

"Bye Sakura-chan! I had fun with the group! Hopefully you did too.." Ino says with a smile as she leaves with Shikamaru.

I head back home, and the visitors aswell. Everybody was leaving to go home. I wonder why Itachi decided to tag along with me.. He's different. 

I arrive at my home, worn-out and exhausted. I open my door, then close it again to lock it. I sigh as I enter my room. I quietly changed into sleepwear, and after that I entered the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I was finally finished with my night-time routine, I plop myself onto the bed, Instantly asleep.
