I slowly opened my eyes and saw no one there. I slowly sat up. Wincing from the pain going up my body, I saw my leg it was broken. It already had a cast on it but it was levitated. I looked at my arms and saw all theses cords connected to me. I started to pull them out one by one. I careful lifted my leg and set it on the bed. I sitting sideways, legs on the side. The one in a case was just sticking straight out and my other one was dangling off the bed. I slowly let my foot hit the cold floor and hesitantly got up hopping on the olay leg I could. There were crutches by the waiting chair. I hopped over there and grabbed them. The door opened.

"I don't know if she'll wake up-" The doctor said as he looked at me. I smiled hesitantly.

"Y/n what are you doing up you shouldn't be walking you could hurt yourself" Aaron said walking in. Immediately I noticed he had his bandana on. I laughed at him. I sat down on the waiting chair.

"Ms. Lycan You have to stay here for at least another day so we can make sure everything is okay with your body" The doctor said. I rolled my eyes.

"Is there anything major I need to know?" I asked him. He looked down at his clipboard and flipped through them.

"Um You dog died in the accident protecting your child, the person who crashed into you died as well, that's all I have to go" He said walking out. I looked at Aaron, his eyes must be out of control.

"Aaron how are your eyes?" I asked him. He touched the bandana. He hesitantly took it off. They weren't red they were brown almost black. His eyes were puffy and had dark circles under them. I hugged him.

"You don't have to worry about me anymore" I said to him. I felt something wet on my shoulder.

*Next Day*

Gene's POV

Since Y/n has been in the hospital because of me. I have been taking care of Sky. Which I soon figured out she was my child. I should've known she wouldn't of just used me then got with someone else.

"Daddy are we gonna see mommy again?" Sky asked walking into the kitchen with a baby blanket I gave her. I crouched down to her level.

"Uncle Aaron said that we'd see her soon" I reassured her. She smiled big and gave me a hug. I smiled and went back to cooking pancakes.

A few minutes later.

"What do you want to do now Sky?" I asked her. She smiled and clapped her hands together.

"Let's go see mommy" She said happily. I smiled and felt a tear go down my face.

"Daddy what's wrong don't you want see mommy don't you want to see her?" She questioned. I picked her up.

"Of course I love your mother but I can't stand seeing her hurt" I said to her. She smiled widely at me saying that. She wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me tight. Then someone knocked on the door.

"Hey it's Aaron" He said from the other side of the door. I set Sky down and she ran straight to the door and opened it before I had the chance to stop her. I turned around to pick her blanket when I heard it.

"MOMMY" She screamed followed by the sound of her laughter. I looked at the door. She was in crutches but hugging Sky. Her Long H/t H/c was all greasy from not taking a shower. She looked tired but her smiled said otherwise. She was absolutely stunning even in a hospital gown. Sky pointed towards me. Y/n looked up at me with her big E/c eyes. I waved at her with Sky's baby blanket as I felt something warm go down my cheek. She walked, well crutched over to me and engulfed me into a hug. I started to cry a lot and so did she. We were standing there her face crying into my chest and i'm crying into her hair. She finally stopped after a while but tears were still streaming down mine.

Y/n Pov

I stopped crying and pulled away from Gene. He hurried up and covered his face.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm so sorry. It's all my fault" He said sobbing into his hands. I positioned myself with the crutches and grabbed at his hands but he pulled away.

"Gene it's not your fault" I said to him but he turned away. I've never seen him this vulnerable, this sad, this emotional.

"Genie please look at me" I said to him as softly as I could. I reached for his hands again and he slowly let me remove his hands from his face. Tears were streaming down his face. I put my hands on each side of his face wiping the tears from his face. He grabbed my waist making sure I wouldn't fall.

"It's okay. I'm okay. " I said to him and smiled. He smiled back and pulled me into a hug. We pulled apart and we leaned closer and shared a kiss. Sky giggled and clapped. I looked over at her and smiled.

"I love you Lil' freckles" Gene said to me as I turned to Sky. I saw the twinkle in her eyes when he said that. I turned back to him.

"I love you too Genie" I said kissing his cheek.
