Chapter 2 School sucks and friends rule

When I went to class the next day my "friends" were avoiding me and I'm not surprised. When ever i entered a classroom people would stare at me everyone was surprised I "dyed" my hair, since i would never do that. And I kept telling them, "I didn't dye my hair I don't know why it changed,"' They would just turn and whisper to each other, probably some conspiracies, but either way they didn't believe me. A lot of people bumped into me and for some reason they look confused or scared, I'm guessing Aylin, Catherine and lizie probably told the original story to get higher up in the popular ranks but I'm pretty sure no one would believe me so they switched up the story and lied. I know this how, you ask. Well I kept getting anonymous girl that said stuff like "your a physco" or" How could you do that to your friends!!!???" I'm not really surprised they were mostly stuck up girls but they were really nice to me ... sometimes.

However, my best friends Abigail and Clarissa had my back. Were all in middle school and had the same age, 12 and have most of our classes together. Abigail is the oldest and Clarissa is the youngest.

Abigail has crystal blue eyes and a light golden brown colour for her hair. She is the average 12 year old height and dresses anyway she wants a long as she's comfortable she and I have the same fashion sense. However Clarissa is the opposite she will not wear jeans unless they're shiny. She is tall smart and has jet black hair with some clip ins. I told them what happened and they nodded mostly, but wanted proof so then I hesitantly showed them the dark mist and they didn't ditch me in fear, unlike my ex-friends.

"Nova That's awesome," My friends Abigail exclaimed, "You have to hide this though."

"Ya Abi is right, by the way, how did you get those powers did something happen?" Clarissa questioned.

"Um kinda not really,"I answered confused myself, "well i don't really know how it happened. I went to the Park near the town square and we were being chased by the workers then because we were there after hours, and well.. you know this happened." I raised my brows in an arched shape unsure if they understood or believed a single word I said.
