Ghost released a long sigh, letting himself into Toast's room packing anything he deemed useful. Once finished with that he laid himself onto the bed, letting himself sink and relax. his bird companion balled up by his ear, every now and again making light chirping sounds, the noise sent tickles down the right side of his body causing him to not being able to help himself but to giggle, his attention was pulled back into reality With the calling of another light noise, this not so close, and was more like a tapping, Ghost pulled his head up too see what it could be, it was Rose standing by the door.

"I don't have anything to pack sooo.. I was hoping we could talk..?" She stood fiddling with her fingers. Only peaking up too look at Ghost while still playing with her fingers, waiting for his answer.

"Oh..uh.." Ghost sat up straight, carefully handing Phantom in his hands, he sat silent for a moment "I don't see why not." Rose entered the room completely and sat at the opposite end of the bed across from Ghost. She watched how he carefully handed and played with the small ball of feathers. While She did this Ghost watched Rose's face. her cheeks  were round like the rest of her, But he mostly focused on her face, watching for anything thought she could show.Ghost was decent at reading people, not as well some others but as if he'd admit that himself. But he couldn't really tell what could be with her, 'it's that bang in front of the left side of her face..' He pouted too himself.

Rose finally spoke up " how long have you had that bird? He's extremely well behaved."
Ghost raised  his eyebrows, not exactly what he expected. But honestly he didn't even know what he really expected for her too say.

"Well, only a few mornings ago." Ghost confused, Rose looked back up at him, clearly shocked herself "really?? But he seems so well trained..!" She quietly seemed to exclaim, Ghost looked from the bird to her again
"Maybe he's a paranormal Bird." he joked, Rose chuckled, glancing up to him again "living up too his name I presume."

The two shared an awkward exchange of laughter. A light bubbly feeling swelled in Ghost's stomach, but the more he thought about it the more concerned he became. He wasn't supposed to feel like that, not with Rose. Carlyle made that clear. Ghost shook his head in an attempt to forget the thought and feeling, attempting to focus on the conversation they shared before they fell into that momentary quiet. Rose shook her head as well, Ghost watched as her white curly hair bounced, almost giving him a glimpse of the left side of her face. She quickly looked down as she fixed her hair, looking back up and giving him a small smile, he returned the favour.

"So Rose, how long was the entity in your home do you think?" Rose puffed her cheeks, slightly glancing to her left too pull a thought from her head, returning back to looking at him "maybe a year or two."

Ghost nodded. " why do you think it was there? What could it want from you?"
Rose sat in a long silence looking down at her hands. "No. I have no reason as to why it was my home.. And no reason as to why he took your friend.."
"He..?"

Rose seemed to freeze for  a split second, before answering "he has a mans voice, so I just assumed.."
Ghost thought for a second, then returning to asking questions.

"Okay Rose.. Who was that man at the scene we saw earlier today?" Rose looked back up at him
"I told you, my friend." Both she and Ghost knew that wasn't what he meant, Ghost sighed.
"I'm sorry if I'm not much help.. But I'm willing to help however I can. "

"I appreciate that Rose."
She huffed, stretching and arching her back the slightest.
"It's gonna be a long trip tomorrow, are you gonna be ready for it?"
"As ready as I can ever be." She forced a chuckle, Ghost nodded.

"It's gonna be difficult, especially if it's your first time, but I promise I won't let any Ghost hurt you, okay?"
Rose sat silently, before raising her hand with pinky finger extended outwards too him "promise..?"
Ghost locked his pinky finger with hers, giving her a soft  smile. "promise." Rose gave him a small gently smile

"Then I'll do my best to promise you the same."
