Night of the Party
I'm heading inside and I see everyone sitting looking sad
"guys-"
"Hey May how was the party?" Crystal asked putting a fake smile on
"good but what's wrong?" I asked
"Brendan told us about you moving back," Yellow said as tears formed in her eyes
"h-how did y-you find out?" I asked
"I accidentally went through your phone thinking it was mine," Brendan said
"I was gonna tell yall," I said as tears rolled down my cheeks. Brendan came to hug me
"hey remember when I had to leave?" he asked me I nodded
"well I was getting a goodbye gift for you," Brendan told me as he wiped one of my tears away with his thumb
"we all got you one" Jimmy said
"this is from us," Crystal said as she looked at Jimmy I opened it and it was a bracelet with a music note
yellow and red gave me a green bandana
"this one is mine," Brendan said as he hands me a box I opened it and it was a new pair of headphone. I hugged them all I just held mine and Brendan hug longer
"we're gonna miss you," Yellow said
"I am too," I said as once more hugged them but this time a group hug
Next day
it was 3 pm and I was saying goodbyes to my friends
"Brendan" I started
"im gonna miss you," he said as he looks at me
"me too, "I told him as tears rolled down my cheeks he cups my face and whip some tears with his thump
"hey may" he started
"yeah?" I asked him as I put my hand on top of his
"I think we should break up," he said my eyes widen
"why?" I asked him as I moved his hand away from my face
"your staying im leaving plus I know you still love Drew," he said
"no, I don't-"
"stop I know you do, look I still love and I hate doing this but it would be for the better," he said
"how can it be for the better?" I asked him
"long distance relationship don't last long plus you got your first love here and im sure yall will get back together so please let's end it here," Brandan said as he cups my face again I nodded
"can I kiss you one more time?" he asked me I nodded
"imma miss you, "I told him
"me too please be with Drew," he said I just nodded and they're flight was called and they left
