I looked over at my clock; 6:10 am

Great.

I was already ten minutes late for school. All because of Nash and how late he kept me up last night. I hardly got any sleep at all.

I quickly spring out of bed and pulled my hair back before changing into my outfit for the day. I looked like a complete mess but honestly, I didn't care.

I stuffed a bagel into my mouth before grabbing my backpack and heading out for school. It was storming outside so I flicked up my hoodie before making my way down the neighborhood to school. I usually get picked up by the bus but today was just not my day. I sprint down the street just as a red pickup truck rolls up to me and slows to a stop.

"Need a ride?" Nash smirks as he opens the passenger door to his car.

"No thanks. My mother always told me to never get in a car with a stranger," I said silently laughing to myself at my stupid pun.

"Oh c'mon. Im not a stranger! We're neighbors. I just wanna make up for last night. Plus you're already soaking wet and I can help you fix your running mascara,"

I bring up hands up to my cheeks and the black liquid stains them. I blush. Hard.

"Ok. Fine. But we're already almost twenty minutes late so hurry it up," I say as I climb into his truck.

I honestly can't believe myself and how I'm literally trusting my mortal enemy with my life but I'm cold and it's wet and I'm allowing myself this one break. I mean I deserve it right? I already put up with so much of his shit and he's the one who made me late anyway so I'm glad that I'm getting his seats soaking wet.

"So..You look pretty hot now that I can see through your shirt," Nash said breaking the silence. I looked down and immediately noticed my see-through white tank top exposing my black bra. I blushed harder than before and grabbed my flannel from my bag.

This has been officially the worst morning ever.

I look up to see him smirking at me and to be honest, that made me super self conscience.

"So what exactly are you doing driving around? Shouldn't you be in school already?" I asked him diverting the subject away from my exposed breasts. We are practically thirty minutes late for school and Nash is driving around like a lunatic?

"Well I saw through your window that you where still sleeping and I figured that maybe you would need a ride so I hung back a little bit.," He said awkwardly gripping the steering wheel.

Wow. Nash Grier was actually helping me out for once. I mean, I guess I deserved it since he always treated me like shit. But I actually felt kinda bad. I mean, I've always been kinda rude to him and he's never really been straight up mean. He's just always been really flirtatious and cocky and.. kinda cute.

"Thanks," I said giving him a weak smile.

"It's honestly not a big deal. I feel bad for ruining your night and I want to make it up to you," He said with reassurance.

I wiped away my running mascara from my blushing cheeks and applied a fresh coat just as Nash pulled into the school parking lot. I slung my backpack over my shoulder as Nash held my door open for me. I nodded in appreciation as I made my way to my first class.
