chapter 56 Prom pt.1

Rose's POV:

Yesterday was the last day of class. So today, it's prom day! My most awaited day of the year.

I'm so happy with my dress, thanks to the girls.

I haven't seen their dresses yet but as of now, we talked about not having any connection with the boys within the day until later at 5:30 or 6.

Now, it's already 10 am so I have to get up.

I stretched my arms then took my phone to look at any notification for a while.

Then, I headed to my bathroom to freshen up.

As I walked out of my room, I caught the scent of something familiar.

Is Lara... Making French toast?!

I immediately ran to the kitchen then I saw her making them.

"Wow... I missed that." I said happily.

"Haha! I haven't done this in a year now." She said with a smile as she flipped the bread on the pan.

"Do it more often," I said and wiggled my eyebrows at her.

She just laughed.

"So, how many are you making?" I asked.

"20?" She said as she dipped the bread in the milk and egg mixture.

"Good one. Cass and I don't want to fight over a piece. Haha!" I said as I stood by the counter.

"Wait, It's almost done." She said then I just nodded.

I headed to the balcony for a while, while waiting for the breakfast to be done.

I then inhaled the cold air outside, with my eyes closed.

Ahh... This would probably be one of the best days of my life. I can't wait.

I stayed out there until Lara finished.

When she got done, Cass came out of her room.

I can tell that she's still half asleep but her eyes widen and run to us.

"I know what it is. Give it to me!" She said excitedly.

"Relax! Here it is." Lara said as she placed the plate on the counter.

"We'll seriously get fat after this," Lara added.

"We don't care!" Me and Cass said at the same time then filled our mouths with the newly cooked toast.

Lara just laughed at us.

All of us had already eaten 6 pieces so there were 2 left on the plate.

"You guys eat it. I give up." Lara said as she rubbed her belly.

Me and Cass looked at each other with creepy smiles then eat the remaining toasts.

"Ahh... I'm full." Cass said as she drank some water.

"Me too. I feel like I need the bathroom now..." I said then the two of them laughed at me.

After that, the three of us just chilled in the living room while watching some TV.

Then suddenly, Cass' phone vibrated so me and Lara peaked at the messages.

TEXT MESSAGE

From: Ashley

"Hey! Let's go to the salon and get our nails done!"

To: Ashley

"Haha! Araso. We'll just get ready."
